Agreed Knigel
Always an excuse /reason

Remember a few years ago during a hot summer needing a fan .
Went to a major retailer who despite the hot spell had just 3 in stock.
Salesperson was frustrated as they didn't have them.
Apparently , the store was using a computer model from the previous year that forecast how many fans to stock for the current trading year....

Little Britain "Computer Says" comes to mind

They make more money on warm clothes its not that easy. Debt-en-hams looks like it will fall through the 8p floor today then 7 pence range my predictions on track 6 pence end of week possible.

No, I said whatever the weather is, YOU use it as a reason for poor performance. If it was too wet/dry at the moment you would say the winter season sales would be flat etc. You really are one depressing negative poster imho

Superdry updates on trading and financial impacts

Superdry, the Global Digital Brand, updates the market on trading and financial impacts, against a backdrop of widely reported weaker consumer confidence across its key markets.

Superdry has experienced two specific factors that will impact its full-year financial performance.

Firstly, the summer and autumn to date has seen unseasonably hot weather conditions in the UK, Continental Europe and on the East Coast of the USA. Critically, these conditions have continued through into September and the first half of October and have significantly affected demand for autumn/winter product, particularly sweats and jackets, which account for around 45% of Superdry's annual sales. The effect of the weather conditions experienced in the first half of the financial year, when combined with the well-publicised challenges facing some of Superdry's trading partners, is expected to adversely impact profits for financial year 2019 by around GBP10m.

Who said yesterday ignore weather warnings?

Superdry profit warning

"Superdry is warning that profits for its current financial year will be £10m less than it originally expected.
Warm weather in September and the first half of October has "significantly affected" demand for its autumn and winter products, it said.
It also expects low to mid-single digit sales growth this"
