niggle: It's a mystery why Robot and his disciples can't understand things even when it's staring them in the face.
MDN's potential worth must be dropping all the time.

Fire Sale! 🔥

You have all been warned time and again. Debenhams’ value will drop below £100m next week.

MDN needs to be sold to pay for stock which will we drip fed into stores when they have the cash to pay.

Trading will collapse as stock is limited.

It’s a self fulfilling prophecy.

Look no further, no thinking required.

This is a done deal.

Bye bye Debs.

The Old Man and trainer boy will be in serious trouble - (chokey) IF they have been seen to have misled the market!

Crisis sale = crisis price

Shareholders won't agree to this and rather take the risk of a CVA. A CVA is inevitable even if Magasins du Nord is sold at a crisis price.

<< Win or loose it will not hurt my pocket at all .>>

<< I will keep buying ,its a bottomless £s source. >>

Having lost plenty of money on stupid trades myself, I actually have a lot of sympathy for anyone else who makes silly mistakes, but there's a limit if they're just being flat Earthers.

kpmg: a major sale would normally take six months, but this is a crisis!

Please all who read this thread read Robots post above. He doesn't care if he loses his money. Sensible investors will stay well away from this share at least until credit insurance is regained. Without it the business will fail.

And I agree With Qantas ,the 300 pence for Christmas is achievable and it might even be higher .look at Apple .

Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy. This is exactly what Debenhams are doing .

Iannotarealaccountantiamafullyflegedfake.you are confused if you think this is a tactical war. you need professional help .

Debenhams a great ,more than 150 years of trading ,with very hard working staff. well done Debenhams.

And no cash

Brace yourselves for a CVA announcement and watch the floor fall out of the share price next week.

You never know they may survive but the odds are 70:30 in favour of a prepack administration

Major sales like that take 6 months to transact at least and they listed it in August so no sale will be completed until Easter next year, if the company survives that long.

A CVA is without credit insurance a certainty and is imminent. Can the company survive this? Mike Ashley makes me worry he has a cunning plan but they may do and then a much brighter future lies ahead.

Given the prospect of a CVA the share should be valued as such and 5-6p is reasonable given the risk premium.

Tactical retreats win wars. Continuing to use your forces when you face overwhelming resistance is a recipe for slaughter.

Let Debenhams get some credit insurance back first before risking your capital. The war is not lost but cash flow needs to stop being a risk. £320m debt + £300m stock now paid up front = bust.

Even if you don't believe it, the market does and the share price will continue to fall. Mugs on Monday who buy in will watch in horror as from 4pm the floor once again falls out of the share price. Best to sell into any buys on Monday morning and wait.

WOO Ho ,

You don't need to worry and fret about Debenhams all over the weekend ,as they are hammering up on Monday .

Make sure you get your fill or kill order in this weekend so you get your stocks on Monday morning hopefully dependant on your buying price indicated .

Always do your own proper research .

There are two inescapable reasons why the share price will continue to go lower:

1. Supply of shares on the market is greater than demand. Not all shares with shorts have been dumped and institutional demand is not there

2. Without credit insurance the company runs out of cash by the end of November

The market will assume the worse. Why wouldn't it given every update has been negative?

It's not all bleak, if the company can regain some credit insurance or successfully negotiates a CVA then better days are to come. I have a nasty suspicion though that Mike Ashley may try and scupper a CVA. What influence does he have with the lenders? Save your capital and retreat from the battlefield, definitely for now, not necessarily forever.

Debsdowner ,Your high street facts are wrong ,Altringham high street is simply booming ,real actual facts .lots of other town and cities are also booming .

Got my free money voucher this morning in the post from Debenhams , I also get 10% of anything I buy on my Debenhams card, always pay it off before the deadline day.

So another big plus shopping in Debenhams .

Its a win win situation buying in Debenhams.

Had a great evening out last night with the girls , plenty of girly games we played .

There is a new Debenhams game, coming out shortly ,should be in the shops in a couple of weeks , bit like monopoly , but Debenhams orientated .

Should be a winning game for all ages to play.

You should be a good game player ,playing mind games , on this forum, your legal expertise knowledge you told us you have will have lots of mind work ,forgot its your other name Simon Templar ,not a qc that does that isn't it .Apologies must remember that each name is doing different things , like poem writing etc, little stories , etc.

I bet your a little bit sick that CAKE was bailed out yesterday with £10 million and another £10 million if needed. You need to take the nails back out of the coffin on that one.

Anyway ,the share price is hammering up on Monday , literally hammering up .

Anyway have a good weekend in your town , Debs ,where is it you now live ?.

Always do your own proper research . Dont forget shares hammering up Monday onwards next week
