The share price reflects the market, Opinions change the dot com boom said there was no old economy just a new one. What a load of puff and bluster. Retail has changed undoubtedly but to imply there will be no bricks and mortar retailers is not steeped in reality. All you can say is retail has not adapted enough not that it has sat on its hands.

I was of the opinion that robot was not invested in this share but now have changed my mind. The constant denial posts seem to suggest someone who has lost many many thousand pounds, possibly betting more than one can afford. I've lost big on my last share so know it hurts. Robot, I would urge you to seek professional financial advice if this is the case. The slippery slope of debt is not nice and pretending to have millions stashed away is not the right way to address such a situation.

As for Q, very similar type denial posts generally mean a large financial loss and difficulty in accepting what has happened. in cases like this an investor has fallen in love with a share and refuses to part with it even when losses multiply. Not a nice situation to be in.

Take a little advice from someone that knows.
It will be ok .
If you want any further therapy after my advice let me know after you have read the below .

Debenhams will be ok ,stop worrying ,you will make yourself ill, they will survive ,honestly it will all be ok .I promise from the bottom of my heart , it will all work out ok for Debenhams.
honestly believe me .
Stop worrying your self about other retail , its not your problem .
Stop worrying about retail leases and bricks and mortar.
Stop worrying that you cant send enough HTTP links in one post .
Stop worrying about GDP and stock prices .
Stop worrying about the beast from the east and weather.
Stop worrying about politics .
Stop worrying about posters and their money they will manage their own affairs without you .
Stop worrying about bad news data that you seem to latch onto .
Stop worrying about other people wherever they are , they will be ok .
If you continue to worry like you do about all the things above and many more ,it will make you extremely ill.What will the world do without people like you if you worry yourself to an early grave .

I am certain that if you were not here posting,no-one would even miss you , many would probably be very releaved as they would not have to read your posts .

Now take my worldly advice and chill out before it is too late .worry can cause untold problems.

Get a hobby , train number watching is good ,get some fresh air , a visit to the top of Blackpool tower would indeed do you a power of good ,all that fresh air in your lungs would do wonders for you .

Actually they're right on top of a massive gas field so if fracking goes ahead Blackpool could be transformed. Let's hope so cos it's a good place.

Robot the stores may be full as you say but the real problem is margin i.e. lack of it.

This tanker is sinking fast, the company must be overloaded with surplus stock and may be leaking cash as well.

Get out before the lifeboats are launched.

Debenhams have Pensions surplus.

Super Tanker Long Leases at good rents anchor tenants top 40 stores very profitable only one store doesn't cover cost.

Generating cash good balance sheet net debt is flat.

Debenhams in Hounds Hill Shopping Centre Blackpool , is absolutely heaving with shoppers,they are doing a roaring trade.

They are coming out with Debenhams full bags in droves .
Don't believe me come here to Blackpool and see for yourself, , some great offers on at the moment .

The doomsayers are wrong ,people are spending , the people that are not spending are those with nothing to spend .
I presume there are some on here with nothing to spend .

Even the 10% off when placing new orders for applying for a Debenhams credit card is flawed.

You have to apply for a temporary credit card.

They email you the card details and text you the CVV number (last three numbers on the back of the card)

The only problem is the text doesnt arrive (Well it hasnt for me) therefore you cannot take advantage of the 10% offer.

After ringing customer services they informed me that they couldnt help me and therefore I lost out on the 10% discount because their systems have failed.

My first experience as a Debenhams customer. Utter garbage.
