QANTAS, stop lying. You bought at around 40p - 48p area and have continued to ramp this all the way down.

IF you were genuinely wanting to buy as low as possible why have you been ramping it ?

You're supposed to buy first then tell the world why they should also buy lol

Maybe we should be talking about at what price Ashley might pounce for the remainder?

He could wait for it to collapse altogether then pick up the pieces afterwards.

What is there to buy though?

Property 650m
Bits 100m
Current assets £445m
Total £1195m

Liabilities 1291.90

Nothing there is there?

Less any negative cash flow from September to now.

'Intangibles' Software, brands & goodwill aren't really worth anything, are they?

BHS actually had £109m of 'negative goodwill' and £409m of intangibles in 2008. It was sold for £1 on March 15 before closing a year later.

Tricky - he could swoop at any time to be fair.

Purely from a TA perspective we are now very close to the lows seen in 2008. That's a very interesting crossroads in terms of sentiment imho.

owenski,

They were also bragging about the dividend they received. Never chase high yield stocks in a declining market, the dividend is at risk.

Now down 5% on day. I still think it may breach 20 pence before weekend, possibly lower.

Live GBP:USD up at 1.42
Stronger £ can only help import/clothing costs. GBP 15% stronger compared to last year can only help margins further.

Muppets were buying this rubbish at 40p banging on about the yield being 8%.

It's now near 20p - a loss of near 50% for an 8% gain. lol

Looks like the market is pricing in some bad numbers and a divi cut.

Mortgage approvals fall 11%.

So fewer new homeowners looking for stuff to put in their new homes.

All posts are watched by moderators, that is why they are moderators. You make it sound like the FBI are watching to see if they can prosecute anyone for saying something negative. I have been a member of this site for a very long time so please don't try and tell me how it works.

You and your cohorts' continual ramping of this dog has done more harm to people's pockets that Simon's or my cautionary tones.

That is until they started laughing at you.

Is there any end to the fall?

Doesn't look like it, its looking like it may breach the 20 pence level this week.

Regardless of the problems, I'm surprised the direction has been all one way for so long now. Especially with Ashley holding his 29%. It certainly is an unusual pattern.

I guess we can expect some news early next week.

niggle,
Doomster posts are being watched by moderators .
Doomsayers bring a sad tone to the blog .
Doomsters have no control over the share price .
Genuine investors have lots to gain in Debenhams.
HTTP in blogs are ok in moderation , but some posters on here are defiantly in need of serious help.

It is obvious Debenhams will turn this around and the losers will be the shorters and doomsters.

Now go and buy a clutch bag full of Debenhams shares and wait for your financial rewards.

Niggle just for your info I am not a holder as yet still waiting in the wings to buy.

I never short as it is pure gambling and very high risk.

Shorters have not make anything until they take the profit as they may lose it in a instant.

Please do your own research..

I think you’ll find that the shortere have not lost. The share is down, that means that anyone still short can take their profit.

I honestly thought you knew that?

Maybe do some research before you lose any more. Oh that’s right you’re only here to entertain!

JD Sports Fashion was higher as it agreed a "transformational" $558m acquisition of Nasdaq-listed retailer The Finish Line in a deal that would add a 556-store estate across 44 US states.
