2018 Forbes has pinned down a record 2,208 billionaires from 72 countries and territories including the first ever from Hungary and Zimbabwe.

Its a new week and leading up to Easter and although the share price is dropping again a bit ,it is not over yet.There is plenty of value in Debs as you will see shortly.
Most of the Sellars are small sells.

Doomsters please stay away especially with all those HTTP links ,no one is wanting them.Your Posts are being watched.

House of Fraser in crisis talks over its debt pile of circa £400 million and tough High Street retail sales.



"In December, the credit ratings agency Moody’s downgraded House of Fraser’s debt to junk status as weak trading and disruption caused by the launch of the company’s new website was compounded by poor sales of its own-label ranges."

Its anyone's guess how the market will react tomorrow with the Dow falling another 400 points.

Will Debenhams breach 20 pence next week? Its very possible with more cold weather forecast.

edit:

One of the reason a potential buyer has been put off is the bondholders set to profit over face value if the chain is purchased.

House of Fraser Lenders calls in advisors as to whether the group is a viable business.



Potential investors don't realise that as margins are now that thin profit could be wiped out overnight through sales declining.

Mr TBeauty product sales is not the way to go IMO. Not as profitable as clothing sales and dilutes their margins.Oh by the way, DEB do heavily discount and there are many discounted online providers......expensive leases with minimal margins to just sell what can be posted through your letterbox.......sure isn't going to provide "protection", utter nonsense as usual.50% of sales (?) with increasing costs at reduced margins......yep thats the way to go!.How much you down here?DD

It really is unbelievable how much negativity is posted on this board, about everything.
We have second hand news thrown at us constantly ,via links and statements and belittlement and trashing of posts .

We all read the papers and see the news ,and have to put up with it here .
I bet some posters on here dread seeing the constant garble churned out like it was coming from a multi million pound printing press establishment .

If it is all true we hear on this blog then what have we all to do to mend this problem that faces us all.

I say its unbelievable.

Next tries to replicate a department store but is warned not to as Debenhams and House of Fraser struggling...

But Neil Wilson, an analyst at ETX Capital, said: ‘I think the department store is not the way to go. Debenhams and House of Fraser are clearly struggling."



NEXT denies its not trying to replicate a department store but every clothing retailer is doing the same thing.

Management are running around losing their heads frantically trying to salvage an old model business.

The reality of the situation is customers haven't the same money neither are they prepared to be ripped off with high cost of clothing.

They don't want to go to towns and cities in the cold and rain and pay sky high parking charges not to mention having to take kids with them demanding the same things their mates have! When a family goes out shopping together its not just the parking cost its the extra cost getting something to eat as well.

Dow fallen over 400 points which doesn't bode well for UK shares next week.

The riskiest shares will fall the most this is what happens in correction territory.
