Excellent recovery from recent lows especially given the very soft market generally. Lets hope Cobbold is doing his stuff.

Libyan banks notes embargoed by the Gov - I hope they were paid in advance. I presume that the notes were being printed by DLAR.

The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills has today signed an Order, under the Export Control Act 2002, prohibiting the export of uncirculated Libyan banknotes without a licence from the UK. This Order applies only to uncirculated bank notes, a

Cobbold only took over less than 4 weeks ago so its a bit rich to blame him for this debacle. Actually the man is top class and I have every confidence that he can sort these problems. I suspect that patience will be rewarded.

Jon827,

The bidders pulled out after a bid of 935 was also rejected and DLAR refused to provided any additional information.

The thing that surprised me was the immediate rise yesterday. Either way, it works for me.

I would rather have a competent French management, than an incompetant management. It seems to me that by failing to talk to the French, this
management has shown they do not have the best interest of the shareholders
in mind.

I will hopefully get some more at £3 or so. The Dela Rue board seem to be acting as badly as I've seen a board handle an issue. Press the "self-destruct" button!!
The French will presumably now wait for 6m and the share price to collapse and then may take another look. In the meantime, the Dela Rue board are going to be looking for another job shortly in my view.
