20/3/2023 09:25 | DCP in it for themselves by the looks of it. No wonder hardly any progress has been made. | hugepants
20/3/2023 07:19 | Hmm: "It has come to the Company's attention that DCP entered into an undisclosed option agreement with the purchaser of the Amanzoe resort in Porto Heli, Greece at the same time that the Company sold its interest in the resort, as originally announced on 2 August 2018 (the "Undisclosed Option Agreement"). The Undisclosed Option Agreement entitled DCP to acquire an additional 15% of the share capital of DolphinCI Fourteen Limited (the special purpose vehicle holding the Amanzoe resort). A separate agreement for DCP to acquire 15% of the share capital of DolphinCI Fourteen Limited had been disclosed and authorised by the Company." | spectoacc
13/2/2023 09:49 | Thanks Baner. | catabrit
13/2/2023 08:31 | Catabrit Lavender Bay is on a net basis a really small proportion of the appraised NAV - the totally dominating components are the 48% Aristo Holding and the Kilada Resort - these two should between them generate 10p/share minimum, albeit it may take a year or three to get there. However the Aristo Holding is currently offered for sale, together with the other 52% and this very asset rich company may well be sold in 2023 - in which case there should be 4p +/- of net proceeds to pay out to DC shareholders. Kilada is a longer shot but it could well generate 6p/DC share over time. Lavender Bay is of very little interest in this context. | baner
10/2/2023 18:11 | I had a look at this one recently as it was recommended. I liked everything about it except the Lavender Bay asset which looks completely illiquid? It’s a big chunk of NAV too. I am also slightly deterred by the amount of time it’s taken to liquidate. I know we had covid etc so perhaps that explains it. I agree with Baner that the r/r looks attractive but I do worry if the market is (correctly) attributing nil value to Lavender Bay and thus the discount to NAV isn’t as attractive as it initially seems. Apologies if this has been covered already in a prior post. New to the story here. Non-Exec buying is a good sign. | catabrit
23/12/2022 10:42 | Good news today. DCI now totally de-risked. Upside 100%+ from the current level. Not much downside, if any. This also put them in better position to negotiate the Aristo disposal. Or maybe they should go the other way around and take the Holding to 100%? | baner
28/10/2022 08:22 | U will hopefully not be disappointed Specto - assuming 8-10p will do it for u. | baner
27/10/2022 19:58 | How much of that will the directors manage to pocket I wonder.. But very much looking forward to a decent return (eventually) on DCI. | spectoacc
27/10/2022 17:28 | looks increasingly good - as soon as the Kea deal is in box, we should see 5p or better - aiming for 8-10p in present value. | baner
27/10/2022 15:07 | Nice trades. Looks like a seller cleared out, with three buyers taking the stock | tiltonboy
24/10/2022 22:54 | OK I'll rephrase that- One director is buying by the looks of it. | hugepants
24/10/2022 19:56 | Can only see one buying | tiltonboy
24/10/2022 16:30 | The directors are all buying by the looks of it The Board of Dolphin received notification on 21 October 2022 that Mr Nicholas John Paris, Independent Non-Executive Director, has purchased 367,500 ordinary shares of EUR0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 4 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Mr Paris has a beneficial interest in 1,287,487 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.14% of the Company's issued share capital. | hugepants
19/10/2022 15:57 | The Board of Dolphin received notification on 18 October 2022 that Mr Nicholas John Paris, Independent Non-Executive Director, has purchased 33,487 ordinary shares of €0.01 each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares"), at a price of 3.7 pence per Ordinary Share. Following this purchase, Mr Paris has a beneficial interest in 33,487 Ordinary Shares, representing 0.004% of the Company's issued share capital. Go Nick John Paris, upped his stake from zero to diddly squat. What's 33k shares, about £20? ;) | spectoacc
18/10/2022 14:24 | as soon as the Kea-deal is completed, this is de-risked with significant upside potential. 8p should be the minimum outcome 2023/24 - it could well end up with double digits. | baner
05/10/2022 09:03 | Given you an up-tick for the hope value @baner ;) | spectoacc
05/10/2022 08:53 | as they now are in the process of selling the Aristo stake, and this is not a very complicated transaction per se - i believe there is a good chance we shall see 3-4p coming out already in Q1 2023. that should "pay for todays share price" leaving Kalida and the rest for free - at least a further 5p in the pipeline, however that may well take into 2024 before the money is in the bank. very attractive risk/reward at 3.5p. | baner
04/10/2022 17:00 | An asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping goes faster than this lot but I reckon we'll get some kind of payout before 2035. Interims | hugepants
29/9/2022 19:48 | total agreement ! | baner
29/9/2022 18:20 | the interest of the new BOD is totally aligned with that of all shareholders. Aristo should fetch at least 3p/Dolphin share, Kalida at least 4p and then maybe another penny or two from the residuals. so we should be heading towards 8-10p/share - eventually ! today´s announcement de-risk the company and there is now only upside from here. | baner
29/9/2022 15:35 | Hmm. That much working capital needed? Aren't we shareholders simply paying their expenses? | spectoacc
29/9/2022 15:29 | Wow. "The pro rata consideration for Dolphin's stake in SPV10 amounts to €17.92 million and represents a premium of 17% to the valuation of the Dolphin's investment in OOKI disclosed in the Company's financial statements as at 31 December 2021. "The disposal proceeds will first be applied towards the repayment in full of the existing loan facility that Dolphin drew down on 7 June and 16 July 2021, of which €12.8 million was outstanding at 31 August 2022. Following this repayment, all debt at the Company level would have been fully repaid. All remaining funds will be retained by Dolphin to meet its current liabilities and working capital requirements." | value hound
17/9/2022 09:14 | Unusual trade after close - UT 49,000 @ 3.74p??? Can anyone explain please...... | wi1l
16/5/2022 20:36 | Weak £ may be helping our NAV? End of 2024 to sell everything still on track I wonder? DCI like a dead man walking. | spectoacc |
