You don’t have the intelligence to debate independence with me.
I keep asking why you cling to us and nothing comes back.
I didn’t start the debate but as always my facts end it.
Life expectancy comment simply highlights the pitfalls of being ruled from London.
You’ve dumped your nuclear weapons here too.

I'll not debate Scottish independence with you as this is about Dart, but you must realise it not the facts that you have quoted but the ones you have not.I will leave you with one fact why everything is not great in Scotland and that is life expectancy.

Scottish007You have fallen for the Nationalist agenda and are quoting only stats that suit that. I do hope that you know this for your own sake.

Scotland has 8.3% of UK population
yet has
32% of total land area
61% of total sea area
90% of all fresh water
65% of natural gas production
96% of crude oil production
81% of untapped coal reserves
62% of total timber production
46% of total forest area
92% of hydro electric production
40% of wind, wave and solar production
60% of all fish landed
30% of beef herd
20% of sheep
10% of pig
9% of dairy
15% of cereal holdings
20% of potato holdings
100% multi billion pound whisky industry
17bn construction industry
13bn food & drink industry
10bn building services industry
9.3bn chemical services industry
9.3bn tourism industry
7bn financial services industry
5bn aero-services industry
4.5bn whisky exports
3.1bn life sciences
then there’s a textile industry l can’t find figures for and don’t forget the 25% of Europe’s wind and wave energy potential.
Now if you still think Westminster subsidises Scotland then you really should steer clear of all financial decisions.
It’s why Westminster clings so dearly 😞

I’ll give you a simple few sums that will take little research but might just shut you up, though to be fair your level of ignorance suggests otherwise.

UK debt = ?
Scotland’s share = 8.3%

UK Assets = ?
Scotland’s share = 8.3%

Now l’ll whisper it for those of you who have a nervous disposition - Scotland’s share of the assets is higher than the share of the debt figure.

Oil, gas, electricity, renewables and Christ even water you steal from us.
You don’t even say thanks.

What a shame that Spain is about to go into lockdown again. The idiots won't stop hugging each other. Barcelona is already a no go area and France is about to close their border with Spain. Travel advice coming from the UK Foreign Office soon.

The Scottish Government confirmed Spain will be added to the air bridge list this week.

Both mainland Spain and the Spanish islands will now be included in the destinations exempt from the two-week quarantine rule.

But all international travellers arriving into Scotland, excluding a very limited number of exemptions, will have to complete a passenger locator form and provide evidence they have done this when arriving in the uk

Scots can fly to Spain and back no quarantine.

That's what I said didn't I?He has failed to make money over the 1/3/5 yrs period. Not good enough for me. As for his 10yrs (if you're happy to stick with anyone for that long), SPX is up much more than that in GBP terms (and this does not even take into account the 0.9% annual management fee Schroders get for such underwhelming performance.

Here we go: https://www.schroders.com/getfunddocument/?oid=1.9.1746Like I said - AB's annualised performance:1 year: -9%3yrs: -1.7%5yrs: +1%10yrs: +12%SP500 has knocked the lights out over the same respective periods. Plug SPX's number on a spreadsheet and you will see what I mean. In other words, money with a tracker would have beaten AB hands down. This clearly indicates AB (like 99% of active players) may talk a great game but he's just another overrated manager.

Not at my desk at the moment so I take your word for it pal. I think it all depends on what own time tolerance is. I personally would never want to put up with a five year losing period but that's me. Cheers.

90/100% or passengers!

I am seeing / hearing 75/90% load factor.
If we can get to October half term in Spain it would help.
Canaries are then key to winter period and hopefully they stay open.
The much reduced but still very important routes to Portugal should be open by 1/08
There are about 60 flights a week in August on last published schedule and still 35/40 through to October.
That’s 12000 pass a week during August with plenty of capacity with our own 737/800 fleet.
Prices are lower than expected.
We also have to see how much more of a hit we take from fuel hedges. We took some on the chin for first half but I fear more to come.

Loads at the moment are low 90 100 from a friend at a UK base

Spain on the verge of more lockdown form filling to Greece ECT is not helping.

Will the Spanish close it off for the last 2 months before winter to save the local population getting a second spike before winter is the question now. Cases are going up a lot now.
