Market truism share price - there are always sellers on the way up as there are buyers all the way south to Hades. Without fail

Yep, bulltrade. I started this stock at 823 in january... so, accumulating not averaging down.
3 - 5 year view.

Will be interesting to see whether there will be a meaningful block of shares traded into the close

Tongo bringing up Soros, Jim Simons etc is like an obese arm-chair footy fan thinking he can play like Ronaldo because he has seen him on the telly.

Seriously my comment was a bit of a banter so yes I also thought latest results were good enough and I trust you are telling the truth. However I have been long enough in the business to know where something (key word!) may not add up. In my view that is weak market action in the face of what should have been a good set of business results. Long story but hey let's see. I also respect anyone else's views and happily accept being wrong when Mr Market slaps me in the face and have thick enough skin to keep calm and carry on if I am proven wrong. Let's see.

Good for you fellas - now you simply have to deal with the small matter of share price agreeing with your taxi guy's views:)

A journalist I met on holiday once said to me "journalists worry as much about the truth as an animal do about getting fat".Anyway first day on holiday in Kefalonia with Jet2holidays only 3 empty seats on flight out this am. Spoke to a lady on the flight who said bookings are massively up on last year and one weekend recently the call centre was so busy staff stayed to midnight dealing with bookings. All apartments in our holiday are full and it's solely use of Jet2. From the stable.

IC is a non-event. Am surprised some give them enough attention. Journalists are simply paid to tell stories. If they were good at the markets, well, they would do something else for a living then wouldn't they.

Or it could be that you have no clue what you are talking about. What you described is exactly what has made billionaires out of Paul Tudor Jones / George Soros / Jim Simons and soooo many others.

Buyers buying when the stock price rises and sellers selling when the share price drops- weird.

another 10% down move on a weekly close and the uptrend (which started in late 2016) will be well and truly over. Quite something that relentless selling is hitting DTG just after their results got out of the way.
