He earns a nice salary and I am sure exit package, and the company continues to have no strong leadership | ![]() willjam
15/3/2006 08:19 | Yup and down here, I reckon the states have it right as it increases the chances of there being a takeover. | ![]() yellow_snow

13/3/2006 10:00 | MinmetMNT) says Q4 trading positive LONDON (AFX) - Gold mining company Minmet PLC said it has enjoyed a "positive" trading performance in the fourth quarter, thanks to the strong gold price and cost savings from last March's corporate restructuring. The company said it is pleased that this phase of restructuring has been successfully completed and operations at the Björkdal gold mine in northern Sweden are running profitably. In the fourth quarter, Björkdal produced 6,163 ounces of gold, which was down on 8,093 a year ago, bringing production for the year to 22,237 ounces, down from 30.601. The amount of ore processed rose, however, to 316,443 tonnes in the fourth quarter from 289,894 tonnes. Production at the milling plant has been maintained at full capacity levels throughout 2005, with ore processed in the quarter primarily sourced from low grade stockpiles of previously mined ore. Revenues during 2005 were enhanced with the production and sale of 61,300 tons of crushed rock/aggregate material. newsdesk@afxnews.com jc/jm | donut114
08/2/2006 10:23 | Used to be these several years ago, made me good money. Was thinking about getting in again, but results trend is too negative, with no signs of sorting it out. Will keep clear, if hits 6p may be interested, almost as a takeover punt | ![]() newstarter
07/2/2006 14:17 | Yup, the revenues are a real disappointment as they are even worse than last quarter, which was supposed to be the seasonally worst and had US national accounts missing. Its looking more likely that they'll be in cash problems before long and a takeover or piecemeal selloff is the only way out. That could be lucrative but they don't have much of a bargaining position. | ![]() yellow_snow
26/1/2006 12:01 | oaklandsway - still looking in from time to time?? Thinking about getting back into these before results - how do you see things? Cheers NS pe - hope you are keeping well | ![]() newstarter
17/1/2006 23:27 | That is how it finished on the US at $1.64 ------------------In | master rsi
17/1/2006 15:25 | Volume and price movement up from before the news. Someone on the now, the news were ( embargo ) delayed till 3pm | master rsi
17/1/2006 15:10 | Good news from Pitney Bowes, they are clearly in for the long-haul with Danka. This suggests more than it probably means in real terms, i.e. convenience for PB, however it does bolster the company especially when considered with the Kodak announcement. It'll all count for naught should the results in early Feb disappoint but for long term holders and traders it looks positive. | ![]() yellow_snow
13/1/2006 20:03 | It would be a surprise and it is not going to happen. | ![]() miata
13/1/2006 17:25 | Danka is not even stimulating much interest on this B/B. There are relatively few holders of the stock in the UK i understand. It would be no surprise if the quote were cancelled here which would make it a real dog to follow. If the price was tickled up a bit i would be out I'm sure like many of who are left. | ![]() rabbrooks
04/1/2006 13:29 | I sold my little punt for a flutter on BLVN. Hey, I'll probably regret it, but what the heck. | farsight
28/12/2005 18:08 | slowly but shurly we will hit 30p,probly a little retractment before 40p | ![]() petersmith6
28/12/2005 10:58 | Looking at recent chart history there's no reason why Dnk cant get back to 30p short term especially after that Kodak news, looking good today with buys at full offer price on such a wide spread. | ![]() quotes_4_u
23/12/2005 14:36 | yes the big turnover is valuable but with a few cost saving and improvments makimg profit will be worth even more | ![]() petersmith6
22/12/2005 15:42 | Recovery. The big turnover is valuable. | farsight
21/12/2005 23:04 | So is this now a recovery stock or a no-hope'r ? | ![]() nickb
21/12/2005 22:47 | Somebody is chuffed farsight, bit disappointed with the rise considering the news so expect a good day tomorrow, thanks for that nasdaq chart, dnk here touched 21.5-22p and with the stock finishing close to the intraday high in the US i think Dnk will rise again tomorrow. All the pieces of the jigsaw fit now ! None stop buy orders getting filled but the price not really moving, looks like people in the know buying and L&G were selling thus stopping any rise but not after that news. | ![]() quotes_4_u
21/12/2005 19:20 | Well this may account for the volume - but who bought them ? 21/12/2005 16:36 | It's amazing what you can pick up by following something closely. Somebody will be chuffed when they get home. quotes_4_u - 19 Dec'05 - 15:48 - 218 of 226 Same again today, massive amounts of stock changing hands, went long today for a small punt purely on all this sudden action. | farsight
21/12/2005 16:18 | Im out.Im taking the loss on the chin.Just as someone knew about the Kodak news I believe some people out there also know that Danka is in trouble hence the big drop over the last few months. If Danka keeps on making the kind of losses it is making I dont know what will happen. | ![]() she-ra |
