02/11/2005 17:54 | There must be something reasonable coming out. This is the first time for a few years we have had high volume and a rise in the share price leading up to results. The other interesting thing will be to see if Goldman have been buying more. It could simply be they are accumulating on behalf of a potential buyer. All will be revealed tomorrow Have to agree the MM's really are messing around with the UK shares. Could it be they want the UK holders to sell to then transfer them to the US? | geng
02/11/2005 12:13 | More messing around while the results are awaited, up to 2.26 in the states equating to a 32p mid price but the mms drop it to 29p here. Laughable. | yellow_snow
28/10/2005 15:16 | Results will be out on November 3rd, so expect the usual release an hour before markets open in the states. As ever the picture these paint of the relative health of the company will be important, especially since the last results indicated a steadying of revenues and some progress on the costs. If this continues in the latest results this will fly over 40p pretty quickly. Any further revenue decline (taking into account the effect of the disposals) with no progress on reducing costs and we may be back to 20p again. Cash will be another interesting figure as they hae $240 m in debt of which $60 m needs paying off in 2008, cash dropped below $100 m last quarter so it would be good to see this stabilise or increase. | yellow_snow
21/10/2005 12:06 | Decent set of results from Xerox, but they are also planning a $500 million share buy-back, which probably takes them out of the equation in terms of potential takeover bidders. Mind you they did have $1.3 billion in cash so still not out of the question, just more unlikely. | yellow_snow
19/10/2005 11:55 | Hilarious, even at $1.76 to the pound these are 35p but a 3k sale drops the price by 1p. Nice easy money for the MMs, sale was indicated at 32.4p! | yellow_snow
18/10/2005 12:38 | Lots of technical talk on some of the boards about cup and handle formations, looks to me to be more of a cup and handle and cup and handle, certainly lots of selling whenever we've been at $2.80. It would be nice to see it over that before the results but we'll probably have to wait for them to come out before we get going seriously again. Spread is a laugh as per. | yellow_snow
18/10/2005 12:37 | And at 33.33p from Barclays that makes it an even better time to buy now! | zedder
18/10/2005 12:35 | With pound strengthening against the $, the current buy price is 1p below the US sell price. About to take a minor top-up of 2700 shares. | zedder
18/10/2005 10:46 | So they've increased by 1.75m shares in 3 weeks! | zedder
18/10/2005 10:13 | Price drops for no apparent Reason Can not find a reason anywhere!! Then Goldman Sachs increases there holding Well Well What funny old game this is. | snod grass
10/10/2005 15:14 | Never Heard Of It Oh yes I did somewhere......... biswell = | master rsi
10/10/2005 12:28 | Fantastic! Biswell is on Danka now, his record speaks for itself, expect a take-over to be announced tomorrow and the share price hit a quid. | yellow_snow
10/10/2005 10:31 | oh dear biswell - do u ever call anything right? | maxbubble
10/10/2005 10:10 | 30p seems inevitable short term The double top for 2005 looks dire for worse to come B | biswell
06/10/2005 18:17 | Whats strange this time is that the fall here seemed to have this fall in the states factored in. Generally its always the US driving things with Danka and then the UK reacting but in this case maybe some in the states got edgy, I'd believe anything in terms of causes for shifts with Danka. Should all iron itself out in the long term, results will give it a shift, hopefully positively. | yellow_snow
06/10/2005 18:03 | Its a typical "Danker drop". Not a small fall, but a big fall on drop from the Gods. No Reason found! No News (bad or Good)! No One Knows Why! And comes right out of Left Field. There it always talk and reasons when it goes up. But on the way down. Not a thing. After the high of yesterday maybe a fall back of 2 3% would have been the norm. But with Danker you don't get things in halves When this baby goes she goes! (She may go up fast to. It can work both ways, but I don't know this time) I hope so. | snod grass
06/10/2005 14:04 | In the US the price moves up. At one point was just shy off $2.80 but still finished up. And what happens over here the MM drops the share price I have about all I can stand of the market being manipulate for reasons other than if a its good or bad company. I know it always has happened, but in some time now on many a BB the complaints are becoming greater and greater. You do the research, you take the gamble. A Company dose well the share price is held back, or as in the case of Danker it falls when at least it should have not moved. I have even seen cases when people have left a company that I was following in their thousand, but the share price has still managed to rise (it did fall back a few days later once their friends had sold out) I think I will stay with Danker but once I out I think I'm off to Premium Bonds. When is the next set of results? | snod grass
06/10/2005 11:18 | Its likely with only 40K trades that some are looking to take profits as we approach the recent high. I'm certainly going to wait for the next results before thinking about reducing, the upside to further stablity or, heavens above, progress, would be huge, much smaller downside and we have the chance to trade on the news here before thingd kick of in the states so a form of insurance. | yellow_snow
05/10/2005 17:07 | Back into DNK after three years waiting..... major resistance around 40p will be holding the price back for a while yet but once overcome we should have quick progress towards the highs of three uyears ago. | a2336418
05/10/2005 16:26 | $2.77/$2.78 | zedder
05/10/2005 16:24 | $2.75/$2.76 even and possibly about to move fast! | zedder
05/10/2005 16:24 | Improving again today on the bid to 36.5p, as DANKY is doing well on the Nasdaq now at $2.73 to $2.74 +0.05c | master rsi |
