17/8/2005 18:24 | 100p is my target for danka and I see it within 6 months. Do not sell these cheap! | barnetpeter
17/8/2005 15:26 | And up and up and up .... so what will be an effective resistance level for DNK? The charts indicate $3 , but its steaming towards that without a significant drop in volumes, happy days :) | yellow_snow
15/8/2005 14:48 | Touching $2.70 in the US after 20 minutes trading. What did I tell you! | zedder
15/8/2005 13:37 | Not often that you see pre-market action on the NASDAQ for the US DANKY shares. This can often be the signal for a big volume day, and given the recent trend, I would say that it could be a big UP day as well if the volume is high. See: | zedder
15/8/2005 13:29 | ah Zedder, was just asking the question elsewhere on all those sells, was starting to worry me. you obviously have faith but ihave been caught out on these at 50p so am cautious | konkorde
15/8/2005 13:12 | By the way, $2.64 close in US on Friday at 1.814 $/£ exchange rate converts to 36.4p. If it makes the $3, that would be 41.4p. | zedder
15/8/2005 13:06 | MMs happily mopping up all these sells this morning. I think the US will test the $3 mark again this week and that the MMs will be selling these on at 35p to 40p as a result. | zedder
12/8/2005 14:50 | Just topped up with 6700 at 34.7p They are up again in early trading in the US. At $1.58 mid with $1.81 exchange rate, mid here should be 35.6p, so I think the UK will catch up soon. | zedder
12/8/2005 00:01 | Closed up almost 10% ( edit in the more sober light of day! - over 8%)on Nasdaq. Is this just recovery from an oversold level or is there something in the pipeline? | actonman
10/8/2005 20:54 | Konkord and yes i meant mid | chestnuts
09/8/2005 22:47 | replied on your thread, thanks | konkorde
09/8/2005 22:19 | Konkord thanks for your praise, but DNK i feel as broken out of the downward trend line but only just it will probably go to 35.5p before making a wave and this could go right back to 20p but not nescacarily and then up again but 1 step at a time let me know how it goes on, hope this helps. | chestnuts
05/8/2005 12:21 | Just thought I'd post on here to bring it back to life!! Theopening comment by oaklands could apply exactly for this week I'm pretty sure things are similar to 2002 - fundamentals are better - and the graph - well couldn't look much better. Again 40p looks very achievable - in fact I'm looking for around 80p by Jan 06 | geng
04/8/2005 18:58 | I used to work for this company! Well started with Kodak Office Imaging which Danka bought. Good luck to all holders! Horrible company to work for.......glad i got out with my sanity.......at least I believe I did, others may disagree. lol | tonystringy
04/8/2005 16:08 | It was nice to get in near the bottom. Now I can sit it out and see my profits rising. | fund1
04/8/2005 15:56 | Looking positive | johnymac
03/8/2005 21:31 | Solid rise in the US after results. The spread is often one cent. Compare that with 4p in the UK! | barnetpeter
03/8/2005 13:45 | Net debt higher due to a lower bank position, even though the proceeds of Danka Canada sale included, but other costs went into SG+A as well, so still an overall positive set of results I'd say, the revenue picture has brightened for the first time in a while. | yellow_snow
03/8/2005 13:39 | Gross margin of 33.9%, lower than the 38.6% reported in the year-ago quarter, but higher than last quarter's 27.6%. Okay. | miata
03/8/2005 13:35 | Results out, $300 m revenue, $10 m operating loss with $6 mill of that restructuring and better Sg+A , I think that'll do nicely, expecting further positive momentum | yellow_snow
02/8/2005 13:35 | Do not really see a problem with one US listing; any decent broker can still deal and on a better spread too! Danka results tomorrow will show the way. A loss is certain but its the statement we need to look at. Costs are being cut drastically and if that means the company is going to move into profits soonish, the shares will steadily rerate. If not, it will drop sharply .... | barnetpeter
02/8/2005 10:20 | Danka was originally a British company, hence the reason, according to my man at Danka | rabbrooks
01/8/2005 15:34 | Rabbrooks, Danka is a UK company - for historic tax advantage reasons. | miata
01/8/2005 15:14 | BP accept your comments but my mom bought back at 11p saw it rise to 80p and then fall back to 15p WITHOUT selling...so was that a good investment? OK now she has recouped a bit (only small holding) but she was holding long term but would have been better getting out and going back in, that is why I am considering selling because although i do believe in long term there is no harm in taking a little bit here and there. | konkorde |
