Kodak thinks so.

Kodak and Danka Announce Expanded Sales Alliance for Digital Presses

Kodak and Danka today announced an expansion of their sales alliance aimed at increasing sales and market penetration for Kodak's digital production presses.

Danka and Kodak have had a highly successful sales and service alliance with Kodak's line of DIGIMASTER black-and-white production printing systems. This expanded alliance will enable Danka to increase its sales of DIGIMASTER production printers in corporate, print for pay and government markets; Kodak will enjoy growth of NEXPRESS production color press systems sales in these markets through Danka's support. The agreement closely aligns the Kodak and Danka sales organizations to leverage the capabilities of each in their core markets.

"Danka's skilled and effective sales and service organizations are extending their long track record of success with our DIGIMASTER production printing systems, while Kodak is seeing increased direct sales success in its core commercial printing markets," said Venkat Purushotham, Managing Director, Digital Printing, Kodak's Graphic Communications Group (GCG). "We look forward to supporting the growth of Danka's sales into its key markets and enlisting its support of the sales success of our color products."

"This expanded strategic supplier relationship with Kodak builds upon Danka's managed print services strategy by capturing a larger share of the production environment for color and black-and-white printing in targeted markets," said Todd Mavis, President and CEO, Danka. "This strategy will be driven by Danka's highly regarded organization of Systems Engineers and Production Print Sales Specialists worldwide."

johnymac.

If i'm not mistaken all those AT trade at the bid prices are
actually buy orders getting filled.
It's confusing but today there was a lot more buying than selling.

Why does the company not come out and make a statement on why all these shares are being dumped and the shareprice is dropping like a stone ?
It is not looking good for the next set of results.

As normal it's all over the place on Sets but just broken back
up above 18p.

I would have thought some holding news maybe to go with this surge
in volume soon ?

Got to be either a UK takeover bid or they are going to sell off the UK and poss Europe.

Can't have this much stock change hands without a news release

Same again today, massive amounts of stock changing hands, went
long today for a small punt purely on all this sudden action.

I do think an institution must be dumping big time.
If they were being swept up the share price would not be dropping like a stone.

No it's the buy orders getting filled all the time, they of
course look like sells, but the AT trades on the bid are buy orders
and many people get confused by this, confuses me half the time.

Anybody else got any theories to the sudden volume surge
and none stop order filling on sets.

Yes, worth watching. High volume and spread down to 0.25p.

US tax-loss realisations into options expiry perhaps?

Busy day for this stock on the sets board.

Somebody has bought shed loads at 18p, everytime a order
gets filled it is replaced with another buy order.

Must be a seller to match but worth watching now.

Yup, the rollovers in Oct and Nov showed as matched pairs, I wondered whether something was missing. I'm wondering whether any of the private equity outfits would be interested in having a go at Danka. If they could use the tax losses it'd be attractive and gutting the management would be nice to see. They would probably wait for a clearer signal as to direction one way or the other though.

No rollover as they go on pair, selling and buying again
and certainly neither as "X" trade as they are a cross bettween two agencies

Hmm, what was the 600k+ at mid-price? Huge volume for a single trade here. Rollover from some of the big Oct or early Nov trades?
