What a pathetic start in the U.S, they have only traded 24,000 shares in 45 minutes - it,s more fun doing real work. I had really hoped things would start to get moving over there especially as we had been positive over here this morning. Oh well theres always next week.

Here we go again a paltry 20k sale and an opportunity to TREE SHAKE - IGNORE IT

No apologies for re-posting my previous 'bare in mind' info

Just a tip for those who have not 'rode' the Danka Express B4. The price will rise then as soon as a sell occurs the MMs shake the tree, within a short time it bounces back. Last big break, quite a few punters sadly lost a lot by bailing out. Just remember the fundamentals and company are strong and results will bare this out IMHO. DYOR.

consolidation at near new heights on low vols is a very bullish signal, remember markets are no fools, results are certaainly going to be satisfactory i think but how much headway the stock makes depends on the figures, and if it shows some sequential improvement in eps and margins from last quarter then we are motoring, debt i think we can assume is going to be lower which the markets have built in the price with the recent repayments etc, i think after results this stock will be near £1, dyor, imho and if you have patience in 3 months time with the us coming out of recession who knows the sky is the limit , the yanks are talking about $20 ie more than £3, let us see remember our little donkey baby was $50 not that long ago, hold if you can

Positive candidate (18 Apr 2002) [Auto] Help
Has risen 1311% since the bottom on 27 Dec 2000 at 0.30. Has broken the rising trend up. This signals an even stronger rate of growth, but the positive development may result in corrections down in the short term. Positive volume balance, i.e. high volume in days of rising prices and low volume in days of falling prices, strengthens the stock further in the short term. The average difference between the highest and lowest price of the month is 73%. The risk is therefore high.

Your post 2112 - Could be anytime (crystal ball malfunctioning). DNK though is always a roller coaster on the up trend. Watch out for tree shaking today MMs are short of stock.

Very encouraging from the States yesterday, up 2c on low volume - 3 days stayed well above $4 - stands a risk today of making good headway to $5 IMHO.

The only red herring in the Investtech analysis is ' overbought'. Normally this shows a weakness coz shorters can have a go. However with DNK/DNKY, volume and price has increased due to excellent company performance, clean bill of health from financial bodies (as opposed to Xerox overstating sales by $3billion) and expected good or very good results on 29th April. Therefore the upward pressure on price will deter all but fool hardy shorters.

Has risen 985% since the bottom on 28 Dec 2000 at 6.50. Is within a rising
trend and continued advance within the current trend is indicated. On
reactions back, there is support against the floor of the trend channel. RSI is,
however, overbought. The stock can still rise further, and we should see a
decreasing RSI before this is used as a negative signal. Positive volume
balance, i.e. high volume in days of rising prices and low volume in days of
falling prices, strengthens the stock in the short term. High risk.

Not posted on here for some time but read everything.

I have been long on Danka for some months now - just to let you know my position.

I am now considering opening a long CFD or spread bet position in DNK but have no previous experience of either of these methods of investing. The only drawbacks I can see are that the volatility of DNK could close out a position with guaranteed stop loss, and that although we are confident about the eventual outcome for DNK we are not sure how long it will take. So, until now, I have played safe with a normal long position via a stockbroker. Anybody any views on the relative merits of either of these (spread bet and CFD) apart from the obvious gearing they give? Thanks in advance.

The following message is copied from Yahoo - an American Danka employee has posted it. The phrase TWO SOLID QUARTERS IN THE BLACK if true gives a great hint of whats going to be in results.

Just came from a meeting.Everything was POSITIVE. New incentive programs for service people to get bonuses for sales leads. It was also mentioned that we have had TWO solid quarters in the BLACK.
Wish I had more than I do in my 401K which has already doubled on the Danky alone. I got in at the right time with xferring funds to Danky.

Buckle in and hold on
