Well I did'n't panic, if thats what you mean, and feeling a little wealthyier this lunchtime, but the futures don't look none too bright.
With the saber rattling this morning from that dippy in Iraq, a few oil shares wouldn't go a miss. Like Edg or Dnx.Just in case he invades Isreal.

Paulm1 - I agree you do need to be careful with such posts and it is better to try and get the wider picture. The above Link to the Yahoo board for Danky has many entries from various authors, all seem very bullish.

I hope all of this is true and not a blatant ramper.I have been hit before by people ramping so be carefull and dyor.I am holding and have a 300% profit and i do belive more to come but please be carefull.

I wanted to elaborate a bit more on the positive news from the meeting the other day. Many of you who have been following this stock for a long time have expressed concern over the reduction in revenues although the more astute of you see that even with lower revenue, the profit picture has been looking much better. Last Oct. 1,(halfway through fy '02) Danka went to a totally new sales compensation plan that went from incentives based on revenues to one based on profit. The result was that the salesforce went out and racked up some very impressive numbers in gross profit but at the same time, walked away from some deals with lower margins. I will not reveal specifics because the rest of the salespeople around the country (and the rest of the world) will not be fully apprised of the newest plan for another 2 weeks, as the corporate "road show" travels around Dankaland to present it to everyone. All I will say is that the plan has been refined in order to encourage both revenue dollars AND gross profit. There are many other positive changes under way that will be implemented during the next 3 to 6 months that will speed up the sales process and free up the reps to spend more face time with customers,and less time with burdensome administrative tasks. This alone should produce more sales. Billing problems are being dealt with by special teams and will soon be completely under control. There are some great new products coming in this and the following quarter from both Canon and Toshiba which will provide a decided competitive edge for Danka reps. I could go on but will not at this juncture. To the disbelievers out there I will tell you only that I have been in the business for 20+ years both as an independent dealer and a Danka employee. I have lived through the earlier good times and those more recent dark and dismal years. The new team has IMHO worked a virtual miracle with this company. I am not one to be taken in by the Rah Rah at a sales meeting. I tell you only what I have been witness to over the last 12 months. The plan is working and you ain't seen nothin' yet. hi everyone,

i am long on this sitting on a profit. just reading a thread on FBB
titled Microsoft:it's all over baby blue

i am having second thoughts about adding anymore now.. possiibly
buy during the second half of reporting season in US especially
of Tech stocks.. may be able to get a better price

what do you think.

Well I guess it's time to come "out of the closet", so to speak. I am an employee with over 20 years' tenure and will tell you all right now that I will not post anything that could jeopardize my positition here. I can also assure you that I will not post any bulls--t either. I have just returned from our FY '03 kickoff meeting at Corporate and can only tell you at this juncture to load up on as much Danky as you can at this price level. I don't have a lot of time right now but will get back on line over the weekend to give you my take on where things are headed for de donkey in the next 12 to 18 months. Better gear up for a wild ride folks, cause you ain't seen nothing yet. More to follow but I wish you all have a great weekend and get started gathering up all the spare cash you can to add to your Danky holdings. You WILL NOT BE SORRY !

please dont forget that the loss making operations have been discontinued and are off the balance sheet as of 31st march,quarter ending dec01 showed an operating prifit compared to losses before, debt has been significantly reduced,price/sales is.1 as mentioned above , its competitors are rated on pric/sales of .3,thic comp remains undervalued, with all indications of better earnings in this quarter and coming months and with the us coming out of recession, this comp will get rerated and then the true value will become apparent, wait and see,imho

are you not impressed with our donkeys resoluteness came back on the the nas last night strongly albeit low vols,excellent base for further northward moves on mon,vols you may have noticed generally low on the nas 1st wk after easter,and should pick up next week.
