08/3/2002 11:59 | Jag, sorry about your lgd but happy to know your rgu is moving up. I wish Danka can build another higher bottom price. | oaklandsway
08/3/2002 11:42 | oaklandsway; i sold lgd yet again at a loss a while ago, rgu is up nicely today one of my few winners which i am holding from 23p after results recently, topped up nicely again on dnk yesterday at 36.5p,i see directors bought dnk at ABOUT $2.85, | jagluthra
08/3/2002 11:37 | Surprise surprise LGD is jumping! Jag, you used to have this, didn't you. I put on my hot list but never bought. I wish I had this one. I am expecting cel hit the bottom already and could start moving slowly as the deal with P&G and Parmalat will increase 2 million of revenue.Hoping takeover as well but my share is still only 25K. Well very good Friday for me. | oaklandsway
08/3/2002 09:21 | Take a look at DES, not for the faint hearted but this company has been looking for a farm out partner to start redrilling in the Falklands - when and if they do the price will rise sharply. Things are just starting to move now so there may be something due. DYOR etc. | ![]() pistonbroke1
08/3/2002 09:06 | Good, Morgan Stanley just gave strong buy rating to TWT with price target of 44p. What a day! I thought TWT would have gone to 7.5p before rebound. | oaklandsway
08/3/2002 08:34 | jag, I will be watching rgu very closely & will buy straight away soon we can see evidence of rising margins & revenue. Not sure the bottom price is but if we can convince the margins to increase (like Danka did) then will be OK to start buying. Please give us some data here in case you can make research a little. cheers. My club bought twt at 11.5p, I did not attend the meeting when they decided it. I was worried but looks like my friends did brave decision. :-)) | oaklandsway
08/3/2002 08:27 | Morning all Looking forward for dnk to up today | ![]() chestnuts
08/3/2002 08:02 | oaklandsway DYOR - but keep an eye on EDG - IMHO (and many others) they will move sharply north w/c 18th. DNK, going from the Yahoo bb, they are very bullish and one poster in particular 'sophiegirl', seems to be right on the mark time and time again. | serious punter
08/3/2002 07:58 | oaklandsway: what do you think of rgu as a recovery play, owned over 60% by chairman, was at one time about £4, now 27p | jagluthra
08/3/2002 07:53 | Morning sp, Good to see you again. I traded EDG a little after you mentioned here & made 10% profit, not bad. About Danka, the target in US is to beat 4 weeks high $2.65 today or 45p-47p but to push up 23 cents they need to trade over 0.5M. So, just hoping stronger bullish really. I have not expected a nasty game yet but we never know if some traders will try to kill anybody who activate stop loss in early trading this afternoon in US. IMO. chesnuts, just give us a name of company here & we should be able to exchange idea. cheers. | oaklandsway
08/3/2002 07:41 | oaklandsway IMHO we will see another surge north today. The US value DNK at 43p at present and after morning profit taking the price has started to built again along with volume. | serious punter
07/3/2002 23:14 | Oakslandway thanks alot i might look for something else though if you come up with something else let me know i always check my Danka | ![]() chestnuts
07/3/2002 21:06 | Passed through the second resistance of $2.37 & stay at $2.42 with lighter volume. Lets hope bigger volume tomorrow & break the 4 weeks high at $2.65. Good night for now, see you tomorrow. | oaklandsway
07/3/2002 19:25 | Back to DANKY, the first resistance had just been passed, now hoping to stay above second resistance at $2.37. Good luck. | oaklandsway
07/3/2002 19:22 | chesnuts, exhibition business is new for me so I don't know how to assess the risk. ITE is the leader in emerging market and got support from private investors; takeover rumours could be true so the price is flying. Base on the last earning report, financially was not pretty strong as the business was affected by 11 Sept but with the economic recovery looming I think ITE could rebound. However, you need to prepare if takeover won't happen. At 35p could still be fair and hoping for target of 60p. Once again, do not ask me the risk of running exhibition business. | oaklandsway
07/3/2002 19:20 | Oaklandsway whats chart expert is it like investtech | ![]() chestnuts
07/3/2002 18:47 | chesnuts, I will check ite later. Danky must pass first resistance at $2,32 & next resistance is $2.37; if keep bullish then DANKY could go back to 4 week high at $2.65 but technically no more resistance until $2.99; passing $2.99 will fly straight to $4. This what I read from chart expert. Not my idea. To pass $2.32 & $2.37 we still need volume at least 0.5M a day but profit takers are doing their job at the moment. let see the last hour of trading across the pond. | oaklandsway
07/3/2002 17:17 | chestnuts Re post 1555. IMHO its just a bit of profit taking across the pond, will rally later and end +ve. They are still (quite rightly) very bullish over there. | serious punter
07/3/2002 17:14 | Oakslandway what do you think about ite | ![]() chestnuts
07/3/2002 16:21 | dnk down 1.74% in the u.s.a. but still up here. anyone have any ideas. | ![]() rifraf1

07/3/2002 15:49 | Any ideas why there are several six figure sales when the mms had the bid well below the level of the price in the US? | webley
07/3/2002 14:40 | jag & chesnuts, It is the right time to spend the cash. Good stocks will go up. chesnuts, I bought lmc to follow you at 64p & happy with 10% this morning. What is your target? £1? Q4 productivity revised to 5.2% gain An improved fourth-quarter economic performance stemmed in part from a more efficient workplace. Nonfarm productivity in the final months of the year rose 5.2 percent, topping a Wall Street forecast for 4.6 percent. Productivity was at its best since the second quarter of 2000, the Labor Department said Thursday. Efficiency in the fourth period was originally reported at a 3.5 percent gain. Output was up 1.2 percent as hours fell 3.3 percent. Unit labor costs fell 2.7 percent. Manufacturing productivity, up 4.1 percent, was at its best since the second quarter of 2000 as well. For all of 2001, U.S. nonfarm productivity rose 1.9 percent -- the weakest reading in six years. | oaklandsway |
