Jag,
just to remind you that DCM will release earning on Tuesday the 19th. I do not recommend to buy today or monday but worth to learn in depth about this co.
Below, I cut & paste some paragraphs from articles taken from Sharecast. I made £1400 for every 1000 shares last november because I paid £3.03 about a month before earning & since then the price almost stay between £4.15-£4.65 although lots of bad news in the market. I reckond DCM should worth £5+ because last year revenue was £140M with pre tax profit of £7.47 and current year pre tax profit is expected £10.9M; today's market cap is only £88M. DYOR, IMO, etc.

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Shares in information and technology hardware group Dicom are cheap and worth tucking away, according to The Investment Column in The Independent. It said the company, whose scanning software reads paper documents and turns them into computer files, is growing at 15% a year despite the slump in IT spending. Sales in the three months to September 30 were up £5.1m to £32.8m and profits rose 15% on the year to £1.2m. Dicom's house broker reckons the company is on course for £10.9m profit this year, The Independent noted. The shares were up 22.5p to 432.5p.

Dicom's earnings for the full year to September 2001 should come in at about 36p a share, valuing the shares, now at 517p, on 14 times earnings and just 10 times expected earnings for next year. This looks too low and I reckon its shares should be valued at about 20 times earnings for next year. That implies a share price target of about 1000p to be achieved for the next 12 months.

Webley, 35p-37p is the support level so if shorters in US will decide to increase their short position then the price should come back to this level but if not then we see the price to stay above that level. IMO.

Just come back into the study to check the situation. US +0.84% on 330,000 shares traded, so a relatively quiet day over there with Danka holding up.

I do like your posts but please dont become a blatant ramper.I have been on a few bb's where things have got out of hand.I hold a lot of this share and want them to go higher and higher and I am in profit.I will still hold but just let settle down and see where we are going. We all expect a few up and downs.

I agree Jayno people should not loose their ball"s and bail out . they should add stock while they can, because there"s only upward turn for this and plenty of good news to come very soon.

I'm picking up comments from people who trade US stocks that the NAS has made a "flat" start so I don't think anything's wrong with Danka. I'm certainly not bailing out. If others do and the price falls a bit, I'd suggest it would be an opportunity to add stock. NAS might turn up later as predicted, or we might have to see what next week brings.

Only 29,700 shares traded. Still -1.26% but if anything MM's seem to be ticking price upwards slightly on odd trades

Some guest on bloomberg predicted that the US market would start low and then close higher Something to do with bad news early today but markets generally do well prior to a long holiday weekend. However, DANKY quite often does the opposite to the market. Personally, I would be happy if we don't move - a little consolidation does no harm.

I don't think people short with a thousand shares. Probably sold because bloomberg predicts a lower start to the market.

Well it's opened 1.26% down on a couple of small sells.

Let's see what happens. Perfectly possible that shorters might try to play this one, so I would be inclined to brass it out.

Seems a strange time to sell, just before the US market opens. Unless they know something? Anybody got early indications of the mood in US?
