I bought 3k shares of vlx (around £1.60) only but my club bought 20k .

I gave precaution on PRO about the possibility of right issue (see my thread written on 28 Feb 2002) and today we saw the right issue offered for 11.75p each. Be careful on PRO (I have not seen a steady growth yet & might still need more funding) but might be good for traders because very popular.

I was not sure to pay VLX at £1.58 per share two week ago but look, up 30p just now & can sell for £2 easily

probably was PRU but this morning in UK only 3 persons who took a chance to top up. Many of you might think Danka will go under 30p but today we saw DANKY just hit $2.33 (or 39p) & still on the way to go back to $2.50+ again.

That's very good indeed then; will buy a little after I sold BAe for 338p and elm for 29p.

Company that will make profit for the first time will fly. So does Danka.

If you read the posts on lastminute some are very interesting there are poss several reasons possible bidder, they look they are going to make a profit for the first time, and the mm are short of stock.

chesnuts, sorry that i could not comment on cor earlier but I think my position is neutral because I do not really understand about the sector (bar business), financially looks OK and expected to grow further.

Since 11 Feb we have not seen DANKY closed under $2 yet so I still expect strong support around this point. This was the reason of my prediction of support between 35p-37p. US investors could attack again & drop it under $2 but not successful so far.

Talking about big rise, it needs volume of trading at least 0.5 million+ everyday consistently.

i think it just needs some more positive news, but i think we might see a downward trend untill the next set of results, and then see it fly way over 60-70p. i wish everyone good luck on this stock.

What's the latest thinking on this share. It's all gone quiet for a while - low volumes particularly on this side on the pond and the prce is slowly ticking down. Are we to wait till nearer the next set of results for any real movement. I am a bit puzzled why it is going down at all as this seems to be a recovering stock are people just getting bored and waiting for more info. Market is positive today yet Dnk is down!

Danky was shorted down to $1.85 half an hour before close, but it found plenty of buyers and closed at $2.05.

From Yahoo BB (re employee share option scheme) :
"Anyone trading options at this point locked in $1.76 per share for March 2002 payroll deduction stock purchase. The only way to get it cheaper is if the price drops before the end of the month. The option purchase plan is based on the lowest price of a combination of dates starting with the first. Along with a 15% discount and no fees. I don't know if it's based on the close or the low for the day. With options already locked in for March there is no longer any reason to hold down share price. Today was important to stay low as far as what my husband was telling me."

Hi Jag,
I bought 10,000 shares of elm on the 26 Feb but was not sure because the company could still be hampered by environmental, tax and pension fund liabilities. Two-third of revenue comes from US and will reduce at least 15%. the company must restructure quickly really, I might take little profit soon.

The basic value of TWT is around 15p, I wrote in TWT thread this morning that in bad sentiment the market value will be under 20p but good sentiment is 25p or more. If news on funding & debt restructuring can come soon then we should see price over 30p again because many people still think the company should value around £1 so sometimes we can see that the price could bounce higher quickly.
