I am looking to buy back very soon mate. I listened in to the appx 1 hr cc. And the only downer was the extra costs of the Oracle implementation. Otherwise the figures and detail was very positive. Sanjay also explained Europe performed extremely well and the figures indicated (as beeson explained) revenue from Europe had more or less stabilised. Also, canadaian problems being addressed and the action taken there is now bearing fruit. There were some exceptional items incurred in canada, and if they took those out they would have produced a profit.

There were a few analysts there as well, and as stated in post 9982 one of them initiated coverage with a strong buy and price target of $7 - he saw differently to many on here including me.

I will go over the recorded message again (i recorded it on tape) and put the details on here. I'm looking to put in some serious money into this. I believe many have read the results wrong (including me) and the CC highlighted that as they went into the break down of revenue and explainations as to why revenue fell or increased.

Have to say Danka management were very open and honest - overall very upbeat. Q3 and Q4 there strongest quarters.

I bet Fidelity made a killing yesterday. Listening to to MMs on Wallstreet/Blloomberg last night, they were saying that now bad news is being absorbed because of a general positive feeling in the market. Whether today's unemployment figures will help/hinder things, they're not sure.

However DANKY/DNK never seems to follow the Nas or general market sentiment. I topped up yesterday because of the way the business is going, a la Phook's post 9980.

By the way, another firm intiated coverage with a BUY, price target of $7. Craig-Hallum Capital Group LLC, ex Merrill guys. Same target as Beeson Gregory. I think I'll listen to these guys, not a bunch of message board jockies like 1/2 the bunch here.

expenses. Take that one off out and what eps/lps do you get ?

loss reported as : $1,756,000

take away the one off gain : $3.5m

they would have reported profit of : $1,144,000 if it werent for the one off canadian expenses.

with an eps : appx 2c

naah not really...will keep and eye out...there's not much rush to get in imo. I remember posting about 9 months ago that the May/August and Nov results were key indicators to viability ... if all 's well and the price continues to hold then I may throw in a couple of grand and sit on it. However if/when she starts to move up it'll bring out the sellers and then we'll have volitiliy andI'll be too tempted to actively trade them.....

Are the results confirmed out tomorrow?

SP hi, there was another ss msg at approx 2.38...when it appeared, the price rose from it's low 2.20 area...

it is all wierd to me anyhow....a buy message comes in and the price drops...a sell msg come in and the price rises to meet it....supply and demand in reverse...lol

Any $2.40 is approx 38.3p....we need buyers to lift this up...after the US showing I'd be surprised not to see some sellers early doors. Then maybe some buyers picking up a lower price. However the US will then open and there may be an early sell off there, prompting an MM markdown here.....price will close, the US will rise throughout the day and the UK gaps up Monday am....
all imo of course ;-)

The SS brought DANKY down -

If you look at the last 30 mins trades DANKY was being bought for £2.45 - since the SS Message it declined to $2.36 - Yet virtually all trades were buys.

IMHO we shall see a big bounce tomorrow even gap up at the bell.

its defying logic. the share price fell drammatically after the last 2 qrtrs results when the figures werent all that bad. Now it doesnt fall that harshly (at least not as harshly as one would have expected) on figures that look quite bad.


by the way, do you have access to that pie chart that indicates what sort of trading occurred today (eg retail / institutional).
