30/10/2002 08:09 | Morning all....looking to be an upday today...expectation and speculation abound good luck. | ![]() blockbuy
30/10/2002 00:55 | I don´t think negative earnings will be well received in the US especially after all the other companies in the sector reported better than expected figures......as it will show DNK as the weakest link...IMHO | ![]() forfaiter
30/10/2002 00:52 | would be good to see a super sell signal at say $3.50 right now. ;-) | ![]() blockbuy
30/10/2002 00:19 | afternoon all...another snippet of news then Phook with Cannon.... nice. Also take a butchers here MARKET COMMENT Few Shares Left To Short By Maynard Paton (TMFMayn) October 29, 2002 There are few shares left to short. Well, there are few obvious shares left to short. A year or two ago, there were plenty of companies whose rich valuations looked distinctly undeserved. Combined with a ropey product and a slowing global economy, companies sporting high price to earnings (P/E) and price to sales (PSR) ratios were great starting points for those hunting shares with plenty of downside. These days though, with investors having migrated to sensible 'value investing' ways, spotting an overvalued share heading for trouble can be difficult. The table below puts things into perspective. Excluding property shares (which tend to be valued on assets rather than earnings or sales) and companies with a market value of less that £30m, the number of shares exhibiting obviously rich valuations has fallen dramatically since the end of 1999 (the FTSE's all-time high). 30/12/1999 28/10/2002 Shares with P/E > 25 194 30 Shares with PSR > 5 180 28 Shares with P/E >25 & 98 5 PSR > 5 full article here. DNK aint on the hit list. | ![]() blockbuy

29/10/2002 21:12 | Anyone answer this... when will the positive effect be felt from this pls. Q2 or Q3 LONDON (AFX) - Danka Business Systems PLC said that three properties located on its current corporate campus have been sold to local buyers for the sum of 3.5 mln usd. The Company will continue to occupy these properties under flexible, short-term leases until its employees can be transitioned into the Company's new Corporate Headquarters located across Roosevelt Boulevard from the campus. The new Corporate Headquarters is expected to be completed by next summer. About 2.3 mln of the sale proceeds were used to pay back lenders under the Company's Tax Retention Operating Lease (TROL) financing facility, which has now been fully repaid and terminated. The Company will receive net proceeds of about 880,000 usd which it intends to use for further debt reduction. rn NNN | ![]() blockbuy

29/10/2002 20:25 | vod may get hit PARIS (AFX) - Vivendi Universal has decided to reject Vodafone Group PLC's offer for its 44 pct stake in Cegetel "in its current form", it said in a statement following a board meeting. er/jkm/ | ![]() blockbuy
29/10/2002 20:21 | actually Pangos, if there have been shorters around the last couple of daysm then this is testiment itself to it's strength.... imagine now as the price rises as those shorters cover..... $$$$ that I like. | ![]() blockbuy
29/10/2002 20:19 | pangos, not sure about shorters covering, there are an equiv amount of buys and sells so far, however I agree that there won't be any sensible shorting until the results have been read....and then they'd have to be bad, espc with a stronger quarter starting an all. all imo of course...could be complete cr*p... ;-) | ![]() blockbuy
29/10/2002 20:17 | It looks to mee like all danka was heavily shorted just after last quarter's results and are covering before coming results..... | ![]() panagos

29/10/2002 20:08 | Hmm.....I think i will stick to my 3.50 target......to much wrong footing going on......which means up in my experience...IMHO | ![]() forfaiter
29/10/2002 19:56 | another cinc buy...2.70 we could end up with big smiles guys in the am if this holds ;-) | ![]() blockbuy
29/10/2002 19:44 | Just thought of something really good. If the UK results make people smile, then as they are out before the US opens, there's no chance of the yanks spoiling our party. If we can get enough momentum going then you never know it could be double bubble time come midday/14:30 Obviously the reverse is true too. So for Thursday am, what's expected of Danky pls so at least we can make comaprison. t/o g/p etc... Ta BB | ![]() blockbuy
29/10/2002 19:01 | in theory yep... what we could be looking at now is full yr and is danky going to hit target. If H1 there or there abouts then brill.... If DNK beat the street, like the rest of it's peers then a rerating may happen... If all on track then I suppose it should be upward movement to the £1.65 value or what ever was banded around 3 months ago (£1.20 - £1.65 was the range posted here I think)... Also beeson's target could be achievable. (don't have the report to hand at the mo) Thursday we find out ... | ![]() blockbuy
29/10/2002 18:56 | thanks bb so in theory the price dropped during this quarter as Danky were going to report a weak quarter. So Q3 will be a strong quarter so we should expect this to be reflected in a higher price ? | phook inell
29/10/2002 17:59 | cinc at 2.71...that's started this spate of buying | ![]() blockbuy |
