oaks shame on you. you have now turned to being a basher. and it seems you are sneakily doing the same on the uk board. you used scold pgevans (forfaiter) for doing the same - but now youve turned. May be because you no longer holder danky stock and wish to get in at a lower price. amazing what people will do to fulfill there objectives. you have gone down in many peoples estimates. shame on you.

SP,no need to apologise, you're in good company.oaks has expressed fears if no news next week that danky could decline under $2 along with DOW & NASDAQ.

NASDAQ 1201.64
-19.97 1.63%

DJIA 7700.47
-296.65 3.70%

S&P 500 833.29
-21.66 2.53%

NASDAQ-100 862.90
-10.84 1.24%

NASDAQ-100 PMI 865.62
-8.12 0.92%

NASDAQ-100 AHI 871.13
-2.61 0.29%

Probably no more than US fund managers selling losers etc ahead of the next quarter etc.imho.

I must apologise to the board, but my frustrations of the septics has got to me - I posted this comment across the pond for the *anks!!!!!

We have Fidelity increasing their holding YET AGAIN & U guys drive it down on poor volumes - I honestly wish Danka was UK led.!!!

It's ok,cavalry has arrived.sceptic tank man has arrived on yahoo to talk some sense into the septics.Need to finish better than -14c at $2.04/$2.07.

IKN has improved back to $8,DJIA is -254.34 and NAS -13.29.

Biding my time for right entry point as there are good reasons to think that share price may go lower.DOW down by -227.98 at 7769.14 (needs to close above 7850 imho.).A well respected poster on yahoo.com also understands this vis-a-vis:-

NOT GOOD Closing UNDER $2.10

Because if we dont hear any good news on Monday or next week then Danky could decline under $2 along with DOW & NASDAQ.

There is a sign that IKN will decline to $7-ish. IMHO.

You could be right about that 300k odd being buys

The Nas is up 8pts, the poor septics haven't yet worked out that institional buying is good for DANKY meanwhile its held us back over here No trades at all for an hour across the pond:0)

By my calculations, that means that institutions now hold about 15% of DANKY's outstanding float (assuming no other significant increases or decreases from last June 30). Quite a change from the less than 1% holdings of last year! Are these people idiots or are they savvy investors holding for the long term? My guess is that FMR knows something about what it is doing. I feel no qualms being long with the big boys!

just like the other large trades in the past few weeks.. I believe they were buy orders being filled (not sells as given by advfn).... for fidelity of course. I think they are still accumulating. Once they get a further 1%, another RNS will be issued.

MMs a bit sensitive today. A few buys and they start upping the ante - the next buyer might be the last at these prices:0)

ff hearing info on the ground in the uk only - it is Danka who have terminated low volume business or else put a minimum service fee on instead.
- i feel this is why their margin is rising.

On a more general note IMHO. Expectations for the 3Q are quite low, but I believe priced in at the moment. There have not been any profit warnings issued, therefore performance is within management's expectations.

Additionally institutions and specifically Fidelity have increased their holdings significantly, which adds to the confidence factor. Also Danka have stripped away the burden entailed in owning offices by the lease back deals, freeing up cash. They've also dramaticaly reduced debt in a tough retro market.

So on the whole they are not doing too bad IMO

SP...fair point......but it doesn,t mean much when the company is losing between 20/25m of revenue per quarter. My guess is that some vendors are not renewing the 12 month service contracts.......which is why the management are unable to call the end of the decline.....

Remember nearly 2/3 of the revenue base is service generated and very difficult to control......if customers don´t want it anymore...what can you do ?..other than reduce the price...

I just love the way you wind the septics up across the pond. However your last post does have a few valid points. You could of mentioned though, that Danka had won the Pitney Bowes Contract - I believe woth something in the order of $13m
