26/9/2002 08:20 | Just picked up another 25K - IMHO we will see a movement north across the pond, DANKY is oversold and has resisted sub $2. | serious punter
26/9/2002 08:16 | Mornin All An informative post from a clearstation contributor:- Since recommending Danka short in May the company has eeked out two quarters in the black, earning $0.001 and 0.006 the last two quarters. In addition Danka's equity has gone from negative to slightly possitive at $0.265/share. On a brighter side Free Cash Flow has been possitive the last three and one quarter years showing $0.225, 0.235, 0.423 & $0.449/share for the current trailing 12 months. The charts indicate that Danka may be ready to rise again, so we're closing short and going long. Free cash flow of $0.449/share per year evaluated at 20% risk adjusted discount rate would indicate a current value of $2.24/share. If thes company weren't so risky (which it may not be in a year or so) the FCF would be evaluated at about 14% for a value of $3.20/share. If one imagines a long term growth of FCF of perhaps 5%/year, one could envission a value of about $5.00/share. | serious punter
26/9/2002 01:38 | psychicdoc, $64 question will 32p hold and bounce back up again.Technical rallies elsewhere.Risk & keenly aware of danger of big fall down from 32p (or higher) is possible. This stock is full of surprises, waiting an opportune time to place my bet pre or post Q2 results as are many others. | ![]() matt1231

25/9/2002 08:31 | it fell a few times below $2.00 yesterday but was swiftly bought back over $2. In fact it went as low as $1.95. | phook inell
25/9/2002 08:26 | psychicdoc I too wish to add, but IMHO we need to see what the septics do. It will test $2 today, and, if firm, then it could be a very opportune entry point. | serious punter
25/9/2002 08:20 | mms again held it up on the nas inspite of increased selling,i feel that in absence of any news today this may slide under $2 today, will it hold $1.90 if it does is the crunch, mms holding it up here as well, why? are they expecting any news, want to buy in but not sure of timing. | ![]() psychicdoc
25/9/2002 08:17 | Has Danka hit bottom yesterday stateside? It certainly didn't like going under $2 - a lot of buying was triggered when it did - so hopefully up from here. | itstelboy
25/9/2002 06:40 | Lex Think the downside is the general malaise in the markets. DANKY seems to be caught by the overall movement of the NASDAQ and DNK is following. Once we recover some stability I would hope to see a recovery to mid 40s/275. Upside seems to be that DNK have done nothing to justify recent slide, institutions are still buying in and they are still following their debt reduction plan which medium term must be positive for the price - short term - who knows. 25/9/2002 01:03 | made on this one before, and all you lucky punters will get another chance to buy buy buy ......at 10p for a better risk play after capitulation all imho of course | dazz17
24/9/2002 23:28 | Recovered to close $2.04/$2.08 (32.9p/33.6p)with 608,000 traded. In July danka twice tested 32p support.See no evidence to support upside with further falls to test $1.736/28p more likely imho. Interesting to see whether danky eventually falls to $1.40 - $1.07. | ![]() lex1000
