27/9/2002 07:34 | Apologies All I took the close from wallstreetcity.com which said the last trade was 15.53.11 $2.16. Thanx Oaks for the correction. However it further underlines my point in post 8935 | serious punter
27/9/2002 04:30 | That would be up 10 cents actually :) | ![]() cshwone
27/9/2002 00:34 | SP,please do not stop on my account.I knew full well that no intention to offend, the same as mine was a light hearted script, including personal views on dnk/markets..Philoso :o) | ![]() matt1231
27/9/2002 00:10 | Leave the boneheads alone......they are great fun to wind up......mind you a few are close to the edge........the pressure must be getting to them...LOL | ![]() forfaiter
27/9/2002 00:08 | matt1231 I will stop using that term, it's purely derived from - Septic Tanks...Yanks.. It was not meant to be derageratory (although at times I do curse them):0) | serious punter
26/9/2002 21:49 | sp, closed at $2.19 or up 10p actually. | oaklandsway
26/9/2002 21:20 | Yet another positive close across the pond. 7c up and sells outnumber buys nearly 3 to 1. IMHO the forces are driving, yes driving, DANKY/DNK north. The septics (killers of all gains normally) can't drive it down. I fully expect a bounce tomorrow or Monday, someone out there has some info which us poor trading mortals are unaware of. Happy trading Friday :0) | serious punter
26/9/2002 16:42 | holding some cash to buy more if it is down to 35p, if?, just cant understand how it is holding so strongly maybe refinancing to be announced tomorrow, who knows? | ![]() psychicdoc
26/9/2002 16:25 | psychic Well done, if it keeps going across the pond it'll gap up nicely tomorrow. | serious punter
26/9/2002 16:22 | well oak just got 45k in 4 lots at 37 and 37.2p, bloody mms wanted 37.5for 45k so saved some dosh and bought in 3lots of 10k and one of 15k,surprisingly nms is so variable. | ![]() psychicdoc
26/9/2002 16:01 | sp, I love the volume. No doubt if some people know something being cooked. :-)) | oaklandsway
26/9/2002 15:55 | Hi Oaks I see the septics just had a bash at shorting DANKY - AND THE PRICES MOVED UP :0) | serious punter
26/9/2002 15:31 | Jag, I trade in US. No interest to trade DNK because of the spread is too much. I stop trading ARM, BA. & VOD to wait for lower price range. Only BT.A gives nice gain. Danky looks good at the moment. | oaklandsway
26/9/2002 15:14 | oak are you in or out just know | ![]() psychicdoc
26/9/2002 14:11 | sp & jag, (actually I don't want to make a prediction here but just try to answer your questions) IMHO the intraday of $1.77 is crucial. Last crucial value was $2.33 (I spoke about this many times before) & broken. Breaking down under $1.77 could go further down but people will fight to buy back that will create very quick bounce. So many people will wait & see to make 100% profit within less than 6 weeks. Not sure if UK traders can enjoy pricing of $1.60 or lower if selling pressure in US finally break the $1.77. Debt rescheduling will change the trend. Please DYOR. | oaklandsway
26/9/2002 14:10 | Positive news via CNN - lets hope DANKY perform :0) NEW YORK (CNN/Money) - New weekly claims for jobless benefits in the United States fell last week, the government said Thursday, staying just above the benchmark 400,000 level as the labor market struggled to recover from heavy job cuts last year. The Labor Department said the number of Americans filing new claims for unemployment benefits fell to 406,000 in the week ended Sept. 21 from a revised 430,000 the prior week. Economists, on average, expected 420,000 new claims, according to Briefing.com. It was the fifth straight week in which the number of claims exceeded 400,000, a benchmark level indicating weakness in the labor market. In a separate report, the Commerce Department reported that orders for goods made to last three years or longer, such as cars and computers, fell 0.6 percent in August after rising a revised 8.6 percent in July. Economists expected durable goods orders to fall 3.4 percent, according to Briefing.com. The reports helped lift U.S. stock market futures, pointing to a positive opening on Wall Street. Treasury bond prices fell. | serious punter
26/9/2002 13:23 | ff What's your thoughts for DANKY/DNK this pm? | serious punter
26/9/2002 11:08 | telbap The septics have been selling big style across the pond and DANKY/DNK refuses to go below $2. Its oversold, see chart posted earlier today, with an RSI of 25. IMHO its due for a bounce, to what, who knows. Oaks any thoughts? | serious punter
26/9/2002 11:01 | Morning all. Read this one totally wrong. From the above there is a strong sense of a big bounce coming, or are you all ave. down????. I jumped out a while back for a 30% loss. But would like to try and trade back some of my money. I feel this is a good point but you can never tell with the US. Any comments (sensible) welcome. | ![]() telbap
