09/9/2002 14:30 | So with that much buy interest and that price, they may well drive it below $2.50 (perhaps as low as $2.40) to try and trigger a few stop-losses and get some shares with which to fill some of that order. $2.50 is equiv to about 40p, although we seem to be consistently holding about 5% above this. I'm sat waiting to buy below 41.5p having sold out at 45.6p last week. Looking to get back in with an increase of about 30% on that previous stake. Anyway, there's the bell. Let's see what develops! 09/9/2002 14:18 | sp, you may 100% be right. strong support at $2.50 & watch to break over $2.71 to get $2.80-ish. hope will be bullish. | oaklandsway

09/9/2002 13:46 | Doom and gloom, by: sophiegirl33991 Long-Term Sentiment: Strong Buy 09/09/02 08:31 am Msg: 36442 of 36442 on Tuesday the S&P experienced its largest loss for the year and the Dow its second steepest decline for the year. On Wednesday stocks rebound only to decline on Thursday. Ending on a positive note Friday. On this and other boards conversations consisted of depression, bank holidays and one continually turns to his God. Let's take a look at what is taking place. In the '90s stocks overshot the upside substantialy they have in recent months overshot the lowside substantialy. The current bear market has lasted some 30 months.. History tends to repeat itself as does the stock market, many people will be concerned that they have missed the bottom and the vast majority will have missed the bottom. That in itself is not news it is a repeat of history. For one to determine were we stand one only has to draw a graph, after doing so one will find that certain sectors always lead the market up and lead it now. Not necessarily the same sectors. One must have key indicators as to the markets top and bottom. My key indicators for the bottom are 24,000 to 34,000 GVW truck chassis and paperboard (cardboard) production. As orders increased for these two products one can be assured the market has reached its bottom. Two things will happen in the near future one will be a steep sell off of the market indicators. The second and simultaneously short positions will cover rapidly. At which time the fund managers will determine the two or three sectors that will lead the recovery. Your challenge will be to determine which stocks in those sectors have what is required for rapid appreciation. One requirement is cash the other is reasonable debt. Two of the sectors will be fault starts. It is my belief this is already happening. (five percent of the fishermen catch 95 percent of the fish). It is very likely that your past history will also repeat itself, human nature being what it is. And Bush, God, or the bombing of a country will not change that. 06/9/2002 22:02 | Hi Oaks Did you notice the MMs were not going to let it slip below $2.50? Which ever MM bought the 50k at $2.60 will be looking, along with others for DANKY to gap up on Monday. The spread today remained constantly wide (13c), come Monday, dependent on the UK, IMHO, this will open higher on the Nas. Small volumes in the UK today, DNK held well, therefore overall, I expect a strong performance on Monday, here and across the pond. Have a good weekend all & look forward to some positive trading next week :0) | serious punter
06/9/2002 18:26 | could not be able to break through $2.65 and suddenly 10,000 shares were withdrawn from bid at $2.55 then came an offer at $2.53. pretty predictable. this is the danger for trading Danky in US. going down under yesterday's close wont be a good sign. | oaklandsway
06/9/2002 17:24 | so who is the 200k seller, after hours. Or was it another late reported trade?? | ![]() telbap
06/9/2002 15:10 | $2.65 is the resistance, need further buying pressure to get back to $2.75 or back down to $2.50-ish. still looks like a hold recommendation at the moment. | oaklandsway
06/9/2002 15:00 | 250k long term. confidence as high as ever. | ![]() 357aman
06/9/2002 14:56 | zedder come on there is no competiton between the 3. DNK comes out way ahead. RON and PRO are risky. DNK has solid fundamentals behind it. Enormous potential for capital growth. Its in a sector thats in an uptrend in such a very torrid economic environment. Now imagine what it can achieve when the economy improves. PRO and RON is ok for funny money.... for serious money, DNK is hard to beat. Thats why I have been accumulating serious amounts. My total holding now tops over 100k. | phook inell
06/9/2002 14:51 | Possibly Phook. Volume very low in US though so far, so could easily turn again. Also, the moment it went above $2.60, some sell interest started to show. See: In the meantime, at least since selling I've been able to switch the funds into my ISA account (as of today). All I need to do now is find a 10 bagger and it's all protected from the Taxman. Assuming there are no 10 baggers around at the moment (pretty good assumption I think!), it's a toss-up between PRO, RON or back into DNK. Regards, watching and waiting Zedder | ![]() zedder
06/9/2002 14:49 | phook, you will be very happy if Danky can break through $2.65. so am i. | oaklandsway

06/9/2002 07:52 | Any Thoughts on What Happened After by: bullrallystocks (42/M/ ®) Long-Term Sentiment: Strong Buy 09/05/02 07:33 pm Msg: 36329 of 36332 A lot of people take their Bids off the table near the close. Some unfortunate person happened to wait until the end of the day to place a Market Sell order. I ALWAYS use Limit Orders for this very reason. The next person that wants to Buy (Me at the moment) will pop this back up to the Mid $2.50's. I have made the same mistake in the past. That was a $1,000.00 loss on one bad trade. 10,000 shares x 10 cents = $1000.00 It pays to fork out that extra $5.00 to use Limit Sell orders. Also it is a good Idea to leave a low Bid on the table just incase something like this happens. Proticker, good to see you back, you are right about the copy sector, I think its down turn was about 3 years ahead of the rest of the market, It bottomed out already and is stablized/consolidat re: Any Thoughts on What Happened After by: siriusly_erractic_ma Msg: 36330 of 36332 at the close- 5600 shares at 2.52, 1800 shares at 2.48 1000 shares at 2.46 100 shares at 2.47 closing price, imo the two sales at 2.48 & 2.46 took a beating- they probably thought they were gonna get 2.52 i agree with bullrally on the use of limit orders | phook inell
05/9/2002 21:39 | it broke in the last minute (the bid price that is). The offer remained at 2.60. close call tomorrow. danky ended : 2.48 - 2.60 | phook inell |
