how market makers work and keep their books in order is a fascination. But if you were around last week and beyound, there were 100s of 1000s of sells being absorbed by market makers, without a nudge in the price downwards.

Trying to fathom out market maker activity is really futile especially when over 85% of stock is in ADR form.

Rest assured todays 300k trade was a buy and it was done at precisely 8:01am. The machinations of market makers is hard to understand.

phook inell, make it 154,395 traded at 42p or less yesterday.Beggars the question where did the other 145,605 come from ? On that basis why would mms apparently be happy selling at a loss? Why not an immediate mark up ? is it or is it not a ploy to suck in more buyers ? questions,questions,questions...

I believe that ff sold at 86p for 1000% profit;others had the same equal opportunity to bank profits.

Oaklandsway posts that he regularly trades in this stock banking profits.Why bash ff and not Oaks?

All rather one sided and hypocritical if you ask me.imho,dyor.

it was a buy this morning, done at 8:01am. Delayed 1 hour in display. I confirmed it with my broker. The time displayed (eg 8:01am) is the time the trade was done.

With fall back from 86p glass is obviuosly half full.Can't be sure that 300K is not a sell c/f from yesterday.Academic really,with lots of cheap shares on their hands cannot rule out that market makers may want to reward continued buying with a mark up in share price.You pays your money and makes your own choices.Good luck in whatever you do.imho.

is the emphasis on "traditionally"??? its possible that last qtr was the weakest and revenue 2nd qtr may just be flat q on q - but greater profits!!!! - is the glass half empty or half full?

Good post matt,I'm very happy to have sold and I am making money elsewhere whilst waiting for a good entry point back into my fave stock, sometimes you know it's much more fun being a bonehead and least my account is ticking UP !!!lol
Don't think physchic knows the difference between, a ramp, a bash or common sense!! lol oooohh (can't believe I just said that)!!

Ta Smoke will check them out later off to the beach!!

ps, sold out of bbc, thought it was running out of steam too, although mel stated last night that it is getting ready for further rise, who knows, bbc bb not that positive either, check out eid!
