Interesting to see what happens after UK closes tonight and UK Bank Holiday Monday when yanks open for trading.Holding well thus far.Thin volume trading mms can take share price where they want it to go.If 38p/$2.33 breached expect onslaught from shorters taken us down to test 32p imho.

tizo, skp nice one particularly jumping in for 47p average.

when Danka closed here, Danky was 2.35 - 2.39 (16:31).

So with Danky closing at 2.43 - 2.45, market makers arent likely to mark it down. At worst it will remain unchanged and at best slightly marked up.

eek, 2.43/2.45 is close to 39.75/40.25 at 1.5208.
The dollar needs to strengthen a little overnight to approx 1.518 for the bid to be 40p

Matt, all that you have posted seems the case.
DANKY order book looks very strong at and below $2. I'd say this could be the shorters target.

We may get a buying oppo late tomorrow or Tuesday (bank hol monday and the states trade by themselves i think) and then we have the run up to the month end.

The dollar strengthens at the mo, 1.5193 so $2 = guess what...32p.

At current xchange rate the 2.45 / 2.47 = 40p.

Could be a tight spread offered early doors .

Case for considering possible scenario of mms having to average down.Never shorted a share in my life,however,in common with pyschicdog,happy to buy lower.Will have to see whether danky can recover by close.

Let me begin by saying that I am still long quite a few shares of DANKY and am still a STRONG BUY for the long term. But it has become obvious to me (and should be to other longs also) that shorts and others who want the price to fall are currently in control of stock price at this time. There are just too many weak holders and/or others who want to take a profit at these levels for any significant upward price appreciation to occur.

So why don't you take some time off (as I have done) and just wait for price to bust over $3. Then, and only then, will a new positive technical climate have been created for DANKY. So why not relax, lurk, etc. and let the shorters have their "fun." Soon enough the days of the longs will return and then we can all be happy again.

Just out of interest, has anyone seen much advertising for Danka? It seems to be a very low profile company. The first hoarding I've seen for it was a large board on a green in last weekend's European Seniors' golf tournament. Maybe this increasing brand exposure is a good sign for those holding long, like me. I'm a low-tech investor, you understand.....IMO.

Yes there is a support at 38p/$2.33 and then a support at 32p/$1.95 ish. Volatile and traders share not to be underestimated in either direction.

There is a support at $2.33-ish, falling below this point won't be favourable because tomorrow is Friday. However, if Danky can get back to $2.58 then the water should be fine. IMHO.
