15/12/2019 05:55 | I think over the coming weeks this should do well. Now there is a stable conservative government in place it gives global fund managers to invest in the UK again. The UK market prior to Friday was seen as 20% cheaper than other markets. Quite a few will buy the FTSE 250 ETF as the easiest way to get domestic UK exposure. DJAN is relatively illiquid due to the small free float so the price is likely to be squeezed up to £65 relatively quickly. | chillpill
02/12/2019 14:30 | EJ - UP 23%YTD....WOW!!! Very well done you. I'm up c14%YTD; very happy with that, but rather marooned since end June. Since I took control of my pension fund back in 2002 I've averaged 12.8%pa; but the past 5yrs at just 9.5%pa - recent times certainly more difficult. I do regret not having control earlier as 1975-2000 was a great time for way above average returns. | skyship
02/12/2019 09:43 | It was a valuation loss - no real news on company developments. | russman
28/11/2019 17:59 | Thanks EJ and Sky. Yes, not an easy market. Fortunately some of my IT’s holding smaller cap shares ( e.g. MTU, SDV) are proving profitable buys from a few months ago. And looking to trade short term situations to supplement my income portfolio - buying into BP and RDSB at the moment as they look oversold and if they don’t recover there’s a very welcome dividend flow whilst I wait. Also trading BRCI ( although unsuccessfully so far !). | cousin jack
28/11/2019 16:52 | CJ - sorry to read that; though sure you'll find the next fish in the pond. Personally I'm finding H2'19 far more difficult than H1'19... | skyship
28/11/2019 16:10 | Damn. Looked closely at possibly buying this when Skyship originally posted his technical buy advice - but wasn’t convinced. Then congratulated myself on not buying as price edged down. Should have known better, as he’s usually right (as movement over the last couple of days has proved )! | cousin jack
28/11/2019 08:55 | Yes, at last some good technical revival in the share price Labour going to lose election? Uncertainty in the housing market diminishing. | retsius

27/11/2019 19:27 | All IMHO DYORAppears that as of accounts date they had a lot of cash having increased borrowing.Question is was this a timing issue or are they in the market to buy? | dandanactionman
27/11/2019 15:39 | Non-eventful set of events. Weakness in NYC valuations was to be expected. Total US portfolio was revalued down with 5-6% so assuming the rest of the US was stable/positive I imagine NYC was valued down by close to 10%. Hard to say whether that's conservative or not. Would be interesting to see if the company did value down UK retail but that this was compensated by positive valuation adjustments elsewhere in their UK portfolio. | tkamp
27/11/2019 08:53 | All imho dyorI am surprised that they have not revalued UK properties downwards. The company has some retail assets which must be going down in value? Is this the only company that is not revaluing property in UK downwards? However a good solid set of results. | dandanactionman
27/11/2019 08:46 | chill - if rental growth is your most important metric (and who would disagree) then I highly recommend you allocate some of your propco cash to RGL - see their recent almost daily RNSs of increased rent lettings. RGL are in the sweet spot of UK regional offices - Yld of 7.7%, though a diminishing NAV discount - now at c6%. Note that similar propco CREI is on a 10.5% premium, so that discount is likely to close further IMO. They are my portfolio banker. | skyship
27/11/2019 07:59 | Very solid set of results with excellent rental growth. Quietly been adding below £50. | chillpill
27/11/2019 07:45 | Exciting stuff - Interim unchanged, NAV unchanged... | skyship
25/11/2019 12:28 | I've phoned the head office and accounts department in the past when approaching the end of November to ask the date, and not even they are sure. After passing me around a few times they say.. "I think it's sometime this week, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday." | apollocreed1
25/11/2019 11:12 | Just went to the website to see if the Interims date appears there - no such chance! The website is appallingly slim; just serves to typify the Freshwaters' view that outside shareholders are an irrelevance. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | skyship
20/11/2019 20:16 | All IMHO DYORIf it follows the usual pattern one would expect the interims Next Wednesday 27/11/2019? | dandanactionman
16/11/2019 09:20 | russman don't hold your breath there wont be any. | bisiboy
15/11/2019 09:25 | No point being listed. I will wait for the interims for any NTAV discount solutions | russman
12/11/2019 14:10 | Some action today, but will it last until 4:30? R. | retsius
