All IMHO DYORI assume that in the next 2 or 3 weeks we will get the interim results (usually end of November).I have no holding in INTU but am looking at all companies in the sector for research. The INTU results are bad and one assumes that there may be a read across to DJAN retail assets?

Jinbo, I am not sure you are correct. If the share price to NAV never tightened then you have a point. Something usually comes along, however the management of this company is very 'different'. If you look at what your £ is buying you then at this discount to NAV I think you might do quite well in the medium term. I would not buy if the discount was say 25% to NAV.

Communication is negligible. DJAN will fiddle about until there is some news.

And if you buy and hold at this level in the long run you will do just fine. Trading is a skill based on a little science and a good degree of luck.

jimbo - listen and learn 😉 - sell when I say sell (£56 back on 23 July); buy when I say buy. Now looks a good time to scalp a small upward movement.

SKYSHIP23 Jul '19 - 13:23 - 1012 of 1065 0 4 0 DJAN remains the very worst of the family controlled companies abusing minority shareholders. Has earned that accolade consistently for the past 50yrs, yet still people buy the shares thinking there is value here. The classic VALUE TRAP. Wake up and GET OUT. You are losing c4.5%pa compound holding this disgrace of a public company!!!

EJ - no, not treating it as a holding; bought as a trade.

The apex triangle and rising lows suggests to me there could be some short-term gain here, perhaps 10%. Bought a few today - first time back in these for more than 15yrs! free stock charts from uk.advfn.com

I the vote goes through I expect a lot of FTSE 250 ETF buying which would push this relatively illiquid share up quite a bit imo.

Since it is an illiquid stock the price is often distorted by the Tracker Funds that include FTSE 250 stocks. Incredible discount to NAV right now.

The close on Friday was the quarterly index changes across all the FTSE indexs, lots of volume all over the place at the close. Good chance to buy some cheap ones.

Another institution unloading so they don’t have to disclose a year end portfolio including a company that has never had a female board member? Any views on AGM? Wanted to go - I hear food is good.
