amt, you're dead right there pal. Not only is it a cautious reaction it is a totally unfounded one. Data is the future now for any company that has ambitions. The share price is close to dirt cheap and therefore a fantastic opportunity for investors with vision. Anyways not to worry, soon the market will respond.

Very cautious reaction. The market in general is scared of a recession and Brexit but neither should impact D4 unless global in nature. Very cheap pe at the moment

No lag here. Trading in line with expectations ie very strong growth. Perpetual licensing its true provides better visibility so all good.

Hi all47,I was referring to the increase in recurring revenue which is having an impact perpetual licensing - this is the lag I was referring to. This text is lifted from the FY results:".....During the last 12 months we have seen a shift in the mix of sales within the Group, firstly, through the growth in the demand for term or recurring licence sales of our Celebrus product set which had an impact on the perpetual licence sales that we have enjoyed in the past. This has had the beneficial effect of increasing our visibility on future revenues. Celebrus sales now represent 24.53% (2018 restated: 21.72%) of Group revenue.Secondly, we have seen an increase in demand for our hybrid cloud data platform services which have developed well in the year, particularly in the North American market. As with our Celebrus sales we are beginning to see customer demand for the provision of our cloud data platform to be delivered as a "Platform as a Service" (PaaS), recurring revenue styled service...."Presumably this means that this morning's outlook in the AGM statement is more soundly based than in the past?Cheers, tightfist

It's positive after the revenue lag has been absorbed. The transition is a real pain, that's (and the unexpected speed was) what knocked SPE and earlier seems to have knocked SGE. It's a generic industry issue - that will soon become an opportunity?

Does eyeing up a takeover target mean that D4T4 is worryingly quiet?

D4t4 is very quiet, no news on deals yet. Hopefully they are eyeing up a takeover target.

One key aspect is the valuation of the Group as SaaS software companies typically attract higher valuations ie 'X' x recurring revenue.

Anybody got any views on the impact of revenue streams changing from perpetual to SaaS here. I got burned on Sopheon.

Yes someone there on the bid at 220 soaking up. Someone just taking advantage yesterday to lighten up maybe. Will be good to have some news flow soon to get things moving again.

Agreed. Holding cash for the opportunistic days when there are distressed sellers is a discipline I need to work on.......

Pe of 12 or 13 for an exciting growth company seems much too low.
