01/8/2024 08:48 | Morning ITT and all. Those big trades yesterday were probably a harbinger of things to come. Today's muted response is perhaps a reflection of how far below the radar the company is in London. Would be good, at some point, to hear something from the Board. | derek ten bag
01/8/2024 08:47 | The company are denying the rumours ATM. "The company denied the rumours of the deal, stating they would announce any such investment as required by their listing on the London Stock Exchange." | inthetin
01/8/2024 08:47 | Ntg, good analysis, but I hope your price prediction is miles out. I certainly hope for a multiple of current market cap for the Indian subsidiary. Best regards sbp | stupidboypike
01/8/2024 08:41 | Are there any new resolutions in the AGM document? | daddy warbucks
01/8/2024 08:38 | The 8:09 'sell' is in fact my 'buy'. GLA | inthetin
01/8/2024 08:36 | Perhaps I should paste my 8150 post again! | nick the greek 1
01/8/2024 08:29 | Had a modest top up - can sell much larger than the usual quantity today so there seems to be good demand for the stock | gleach23
01/8/2024 08:28 | Current market cap £23m. I’d be very disappointed and surprised if they are not looking for a multiple of that for the Indian subsidiary. Does raise the question what they will do with the funds, special dividend return to shareholders? Might be too much to hope for, but it will be a lot of cash for Cyan without India to service. Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
01/8/2024 08:19 | SBP - snap! Need to see some details obviously, but difficult to see how this wouldn’t be positive?? | johnwall
01/8/2024 08:16 | Thanks for that ITT. Very interesting- surprised there hasn’t been more reaction in the SP | johnwall
01/8/2024 08:13 | Wow itt, not sure why this hasn’t had a major impact on share price. Has to be good news, we needed something to change and this looks like it. Best regards sbp | stupidboypike

01/8/2024 07:59 | Good morning DTB and all :) Yesterday was certainly a day of big trades which makes me wonder if a TR1 will land in the near future either with an increase or decrease of holdings of existing holders or even a new holder ? A welcome flicker of navy blue ! Everyone's holdings are very important to themselves and we are all in different phases, have different priorities in life. The older I get the more I realise that life is very much about luck. Though we would like to attribute success to a number of our virtues and attributes, most of it is down to raw luck and being at the right place and at the right time ! The "lottery of life".... Looks like AGM is scheduled for Thu,22.08.2024 1030 hrs in London. Anyone able to attend/intending to attend ? Let's hope we see more CYAN in the days and weeks to come ! Looks like Schroders and Phoenix are going to invest in unlisted companies....maybe they will look at AIM market as well ? Good luck all ! | multibagger
31/7/2024 16:43 | And as for portfolio balancing, I'm afraid my limited portfolio is too lightweight to merit the effort. Unlike you own, no doubt. And yes, SBP, I do like that shade of navy they use on this site. Always good to see. | derek ten bag
31/7/2024 16:37 | Who knows Multi, but a good number of buys which is surely a positive. | derek ten bag
31/7/2024 16:37 | Always nice to see a positive share price coupled with higher volume. Best regards SBP | stupidboypike
31/7/2024 16:22 | Hi DTB :) Some very large for CYAN trades going through - could it be portfolio rebalancing in expectation of probable CGT changes to be announced on 30th Oct ? | multibagger
31/7/2024 16:11 | Some interesting large trades going through today. | derek ten bag
31/7/2024 14:26 | Bear in mind that the LAST of the Maintenance recurring payments will be almost ten years after each project get-go...... If one makes a DCF on the purported 90% margin, today's value is much reduced - eg I make it 25% if discounted over ten years at 12% pa cost-of-capital. DYOR... NIAI | tightfist
30/7/2024 11:14 | Well those margins are on very little by the looks of it...Once these get into profit company will be on sounder footing... | beeezzz
30/7/2024 08:56 | Best not trumpet margins like that. Especially in a politically sensitive environment. But yes, we could do with orders more than photos. | major courtenay
30/7/2024 08:49 | Yay! New, updated photos of the Team on the website. I suppose it's something, but it's a new, updated order book we really need. | derek ten bag
29/7/2024 17:05 | This is like watching paint dry. That 90% margin on the latter phase of the order isn't exactly new information and, for all we know, may be the standard for all such contracts. Back in the day when we heard about the Iran order (anyone old enough to remember that?) it was mentioned. I would certainly be hoping that some of those contracts from May 2022 and earlier would be there already. Indeed, perhaps the sharp rise in revenue in the recent FY24 results might, in part, be attributable to the start of the recurring revenues. If so, and given the number of SATs passes and Go-Lives initiated, we should start to see an impact in FY25. Just my musings of course. | derek ten bag
28/7/2024 12:12 | The BoD shouting about a 90% gross profit margin at any stage of a contract is the last thing that I want to hear. Achieving it within the mix of sales? Yes please. It is wrong that it has been mentioned at all and we will inevitably pay a price for that in negotiations going forward. | inthetin
27/7/2024 22:15 | Hi All I have a layman's question on margins going forward. The financial highlights section of the results states - "Gross margin in the first two years of projects in India is expected to be around 35-40% due to revenue on hardware in the first two years of a project. After year two of each project it is expected gross margins of greater than 90% will be achieved due to the transition to services revenue" Does anyone know when we should expect gross margins of 90% to start kicking in? Looking back at RNSs I picked at random one dated 10/05/22 entitled "New Order for Smart Metering Project in India". It talks of the Omnimesh Modules being delivered within 30 months (so that's this November) and also mentions an annual maintenance contract. So is this not a 'project' that should move to 90% margins this FY25? If so, I don't know why they couldn't mention it in the Outlook. | gleach23 |
