Great news this morning. 80% of fy '25 already in the bag. Lots of upside, limited downside, that's the risk/reward I like!!

Best regards SBP

Now we can understand why Gervais Williams was "tremendously upbeat".....video in the header 23 Jan 2024.

Yes this does seem to be a very encouraging TU.

The backlog expected at 80% of 2025 already in being the real cream perhaps.

Actually it is probably the best written one I've ever seen them do too, no fluff, just factual info, maybe they have a new PR machine at work?

Also the office in MENA is interesting, not sure we can afford it yet but is this possibly another sign that India is going independent?

If the 8p seller is gone this could even go up today!

Zeus update note issued. Not changed forecasts as yet or set a target price, but conclude materially undervalued. Surely warrants a return to double figures today! GLA

Yes, but no mention of profit. Assumption: they're still not making any.

The company cannot control the stock market, all it can do is to try and beat its own performance. CYAN has just done that in a spectacular fashion.

A pricing disconnect between the "company performance" and "stock market perception/sentiment" is what stock investing is largely about.

Good? It MATERIALLY EXCEEDED expectations and is at near 3 year lows.

Strange update. No turnover given and no cash balance. Does look good in principle though.

Good morning all :)

Another excellent update and fantastic to see the four most favourite words in the stock market

"...materially exceed market expectations..."

"...80% of FY25 revenues in the bag

Let's see what the market thinks, but expect the positive response to be muted.

Hope I am spectacularly wrong !!

Good luck all !

Today's news hasn't exactly set the heather on fire but I suspect that has as much to do with the overall market conditions than anything else. As Multi has mentioned (and the RNS inferred) this deal is significant in that it opens up a new and potentially very large territory for us. An extension to the SFA with Intellismart would be a good next step, as would positive news from Genus. I am quietly confident that more deals may be very close. This week would be good. I am also wondering if we might be closer to break-even or even profitability than we perhaps think. Let's hope so. GLA.

Breakeven seems to be about 1.1m GBP turnover per month.
So H2 say 1.2 m units sold equals about 13m GBP at 31% margin.
So perhaps at breakeven now.
Ye 2025 say 2m units say 2 or 3 m profit.

Worth pointing out for anyone new that FY '25 is April '24 to April '25. So 1Q fy '25 is April, May June '24.

Good news this morning, keep them coming Cyan!

Best regards SBP

Morning all. Good news, promising start, fizzling out already. My question to anyone who thinks they know these things is about our market cap. Currently around £25m. Given what we know regarding the order book, would anyone like to make an assessment of whether that is a fair value or, as I suspect, undervalued and what would be fair value?

To get the audience's full attention, what this production needs now is an appearance from the mysterious Mrs/Mr Genus.

I'm sure that the choreography team are working out when she/he needs to enter the stage to get maximum impact.

Intriguing stuff.

Hi amt :)

Revenues come from different contracts, different countries, different hardware and components like cellular gateways, NB-IoT products, HES systems so refined extrapolation is neigh impossible, unless one has inside knowledge ! I am sure we will get to know in the fullness of time !

Zeus's report for FY23 says that Cyan had installed 1.2M as at that time. Therefore, if that figure is reliable, 1.6M have been installed in FY24.

It must be higher 1.2m multi otherwise they would be well short of 16m turnover for the year.

Thanks. I don't have a big holding but it might be possible with a fair amount of work to get to the number.
I had a go at it and got to just 1.6m
Which seems a bit low.

The trend for delivery of modules have been strongly upwards and some upward jumps have been substantial but don't recall any figures recently been put out.

I'll see if there is any historical stuff from presentations that I have.

Edit: 291k were delivered in Q1 2024 cf 391k for the entire year 2023.

So I think we could be delivering about 1.2m+ a year /about 300-400k per quarter though it may be lumpy and not a smooth flow due to offtake being implementation driven ?

Thanks very much multi.
Can we work out the units delivered in fy March 2024 from the statement

This order takes our cumulative order book for India to 6.6 million Omnimesh modules, of which we have successfully delivered 2.8 million modules by the end of FY 2024."

Hi amt,

About £12.5 per module/over the lifetime of the contract was mentioned sometime ago -but each contract is bespoke so this is just a ballpark figure. Then there are things like HES etc - which are sometimes billed separately....so difficult to give a simple answer.

Also forex volatility comes into play with USD (components), Indian Rupee (INR)payments for contracts and conversion into GBP for our financial statements.

Oil markets seem to be more sanguine as they have marked down oil prices - so hopefully our stock market reacts to this great news in a positive way.
