Well I’ve been here about 5 years and the reason I’ve kept them is because The management team we’re so impressive. Maybe they are just fed up with PI’s pushing it up snd drooping it down again. I was holding it at 45p when it had risen from 20p. The company sited their order book was so full they would have to sub out (while their new msnufacturing capacity came online) and boom it was back down to 20p. They probably just want a slow steady rise over the years and no reason for anyone to sell their stock. But if say there was a problem with their Superdrug contract then presumable that good be a problem going forward. Don’t know but I wonder if I should cut my exposure again until they tell us what’s making them so miserable. As we speak, ‘I continue to look for any positives going forward!’

Thank you Maurice - I agree there’s something not quite right here. D’you think they’ve a problem with one of their major contracts or something?

Another RNS released well after market open. Or are we supposed to believe the auditors phoned at 9am and said “no chance we’ll be finished today”.

Well let’s just see heh. I have halved my original position. I’m still not sure what to think. Whoever put out the last rns seemed to be having a real downer.

I agree, I'm not defending that, that was poorly worded and should have been released before the open, but they're not the only micro cap to do that. This is more an issue with the nomad for me.The company themselves are very proactive with meeting investors and being transparent.

You can't defend making a routine announcement after 7am, especially one that contains a fairly poorly worded trading update that doesn't actually mention how good / bad trading was.

I think it's unfair to say the investor relations are terrible, as they have for some time now hosted presentations you could attend in person or watch online where they discuss results, talk about the business and invite Q&A.I think they are a bit naive sometimes and somewhat quirky with their communication to market, which I think really stems from the fact they have grown rapidly from being a tiny company, and don't quite yet have the more polished mindset of one befitting of their market cap. They could probably be being advised better by their Nomad.

I might have mistimed this, but I've jumped back in today. The investor relations here are terrible, but I suspect the results are going to be ok and the mid term growth looks like it should be fine, even in a recession people still need soap.

Could just be another tree shake to let bigger punters in... just in time for a run upto results?

mfhmfh- I too had expected share price would settle at around 60p, though it seems calamitous investor relations caused panic. CRL one of few to benefit from Covid-19 and defensive sector- very much undervalued. Wager next stop will be nearer 39p, with sharp rebound into new highs by year end results 2021.

Well Íve followed your lead monkey. Yoúre right it´s a red flag and Íve reduced back to my originl levels in SIP and in ISA (which I bought at 6p). Who knows if wére right but this share can swing quite wildly and a good night´s sleep is better than the slim chance of scooping the jackpot. Good luck all. Time to find a new gem.

Them not releasing the announcement at 7am was a red flag for me. They're either trying to hide bad news or dgaf about the owners of the business.

I sold half (so down to 1/4 of my original stake) this morning but they'd have to get close to 40p for me to consider buying them back

Noses in trough even with that subtle, ‘continue to find the positives where possible’? That is just odd, imo.

I like the business a lot.

The lack of communication and continued issue of options makes me wonder who they are running the business for.

Whilst delaying results in line with FCA guidance acceptable, it is disappointing considering no explanation given as to why necessary in this case. RNS either very poorly worded or potential cause for concern- 'continue to find the positives where possible' somewhat baffling.

I believe CRL to be a very fine company indeed, though expect the share price to fall back prior to results day.
