agree Oxman. good results and share price should recover nicely after some profit taking. This is normal after trading update. IMO after today's Rns, share price will recover to 55p in the short term and 60-65p in the medium/long term. Director's presentation at 2pm today.

Decent results and growth prospects going forward. Just a bit of profit taking today. Suspect they will recover nicely.

I attended Mello and saw Creightons...and also had the chance to talk to Bernard, Paul and Pippa individually as they had a stand in the main hall. The presentation was packed...and I am told that 105 people were in the room watching..and the seating capacity was for 60 max...so standing room only! They were limited in what they could say...given results next week. Bernard is certainly "canny", while Paul is sensible and presents everything clearly. The real star is Pippa...the Marketing Director, and I am sure she is a big driving force in the business. Her knowledge and passion really come across. I sense from body language and tone that everything going well...and look forward to results next week.

There's no borrow availability on this stock so any short will have zero impact on price.

Thanks for the report. Really value adding. The "Volatility Contraction Pattern" the chart is showing and the strong surge last week gives this chart a markedly bullish tone. I have a position.

‘£3,040,000 hsbc loan and the balance being provided from the Company's existing facilities. Another £1,060,000 not detailed ? 218k annual depreciation charge for 5 years? Personally I’d have knocked that off the purchase price But if you click ‘open positions’ in Spreadex, then accidentally double click the first open position arrow twice rather than one (or intuitively click twice if the page is slow), then you accidentally close your position because the buy button is in exactly the same place on the following page using ipad. So I have no position here thanks to speadex click tricks.

There was a fair bit of inventory build up in the the run up to 31st March (ie 1st Brexit date)

Yes, next Wednesday okay. Could be interesting, not sure if there's likely to be much of an improvement. Chunky related party property sale, wondering why he would offload it now

Revenue 44,030 34,810 Cost of sales (26,690) (20,660) Inventories 8,015 5,499 I would look at inventory days (compare inventory to cost of sales and receivables to revenue for debtor days) so that's 109 days, up from 97 days and yes you have a point. And yes they run a tight ship on the cash front but it is paying a dividend, is genuinely producing cash and has access to bank facilities. It's capitalising some intangibles but personally I would argue that the number is small, reasonable and justified given that they are genuinely creating their own brands. It's not the sort of AIM company that I would normally leap to agree with you on. The interims are due next Wednesday. I will ask about inventories and perhaps we can revisit this then? JakNife

Perhaps a bit impulsive of me. Inventories up by 50%? Shouldn’t they be flying off shelf ? Why is cash down to 349k?

Not convinced by that one kreature. It's unusual to find myself disagreeing but I am long FWIW.

Move up almost certainly due to it's Mello presentation. If we know one thing about Creightons they do a good presentation! Anyone there to see it?

Nice move, it's been a long consolidation, would have thought 55-60p is achievable short term.

I think they look like a nice little company on the way up, get the impression they are well run, and certainly over the last 2-3 years, I havn't had any reason to change my thoughts. A nice tick up over the last couple of days, delayed reaction to the purchase of the premises?

Jut been re-watching the FY presentation: https://www.piworld.co.uk/2019/07/01/creightons-crl-fy19-preliminary-results-presentation/ Despite the recent share price weakness, I can see no justification for selling any of my shares here.

Am I imagining it or did I read somewhere that they might need a good chunk of money (£10m?)to expand? Is that what is holding back the sp? Cheers.

Very positive update with lots of highlights not in the results RNS. - Targeting what works out as 20% compound sales growth p.a. through to 2024. - Sales in first two months of year up 20% on last year. - No systemic sales team. Just appointed a Head of Sales formerly at McBride. Etc, etc.

One similarity between IGR and CRL from yesterday's is their focus on "working with the winners". A good way of achieving growth and avoiding bad debt.

Great results here - there'll surely be a market response today. Things bode well for the future (though in these situations one always has to aim off a bit for the end of the tax credit and its effect on eps). I was amused by this comment: 'Following the decision to delay Brexit and the fact that the duty and trading implications of a non-deal Brexit are more clearly understood the Group is unwinding this investment in stock with a consequential increase in the Group's cash resources.' A correct call, I think, but let's not get into politics on this thread!
