the £1800 trade that took the bid down to 3.5p, has been cancelled, shortly after someone sold £875 worth at 3.5p. All small fry trades, however, looks very much like an effort to push it down a bit further, without getting noticed.

1iniesta, You won't get an argument from me about the poor customer experience in recent times, but if we see a return of key people and get them and longstanding staff onto a worthwhile option scheme where everyone can have the opportunity to share in the rewards we will have a foundation to build on.

that is right owen, it is a chain of butchers and they should focus on that.

Always thought this was overpriced at 80p pre NC days, it was never high growth and at the end of the day is just a chain of butchers.

I looked at this some time ago and decided it was not worth it as things were. Since then, the announcement of the CEO leaving is the catalyst for change, that I have been waiting for. The stock price drop took this down to a level that doesn't reflect the value of the business. I took a position and will see what transpires.

I suspect, buywell, that the headcount and costs are about to come down with the arrival of a new CEO.

A lot of you sayin the high streets are dying and going for the factory stores are the way forward but looking at other company’s such as mckenzie meats they have one factory store and the rest are high street stores, KB with a lot of experience in the trade is still going for the high street stores

buywell3 you always seem to turn up when a company is experiencing some trauma. Is that what gives you pleasure in life? if it is you must have a sad life.

from what I have seen of buywells posts, he does not eat meat, so he will never be positive about a stock which sells meat.

from a balance sheet perspective it is overdone.

Drop overdone ?

Look at the header 6 month chart

A nice even angle down

Not any over done at all, and still 4p to go

depends on your time horizon arthur. With the overdone drop, taking the mcap below the value of the business and the expectation of a new CEO to be announced, who will want to get to work to reverse the decline, we are likely to see an increase in the shareprice in the short run. As for the longer term, that depends on how they proceed.

Cut the loss makers, cut the overheads or will boparan make a bid for the remainder of the company - this time last year they valued it at 15.2p - there is over £8m of non current assets, excluding intangibles on the balance sheet.

Personally I can't see any good reason to invest in these at the moment. I guess if the factory shop format is profitable and the loss making high street stores can be closed over time there may come a point when these are interesting, but at the moment to me an investment here just looks like dead money for the next few years.

Tks vicarage, would be grateful if you could post any feedback from the shop on this site.

I suspect also, that boparan is not overly impressed with their performance and told them in no uncertain terms that leaving is the right move.
