Shares in issue now up to 78,936,442, so 3% would represent 2.37m shares. That's a pretty significant holding even at the current price. I don't think Davidosh is the type to quietly move on; he tends to hold long term, and in any case he would have had an obligation to inform the market if his percentage holding had reduced.

David can speak for himself but there's been no RNS since
..so he's still holding over 3% unless an RNS appears to the contrary, when or if it does it might be worth a comment or two but..

No comment from Davidosh lately. This is down over 20% since the beginning of the year and over 75% since September. Having tried to ramp it as one of his top picks of the year he has probably quietly sold out and moved on.

Minced beef and onion pie, Hot pot, Large Leeds pork pie, Potato and meat pie, Hash pie and many more pies.

Leeds market are focusing on Pies which is praiseworthy, nothing beats a more old-style approach to a sales counter. This reminds me of our Pocklington shop where they can learn many a lesson on pie presentation.

5-7 new stores is apparently still the plan for 2017 (y/e Jan 2018).

Southport future seems unclear if they go ahead with demolishing the shopping centre

Does anyone know if they are still opening new stores or is the store roll out plan on hold now?

Optomistic, thanks for the update.

Fast reply from Karen @Crawshaws and it's exactly as you say Optimistic

one of our Barnsley stores has closed as part of the market redevelopment work being undertaken by the council (as have all the other units in that area) We're pleased to say that our staff and customers have relocated to our units in the meat and fish hall of Barnsley market.

I will post something on LSE tomorrow to set them straight

Playful, Barnsley had two branches very close to each other, now barnsley being a robust Labour town the powers that be decided to develope the town center which caused one of Crawshaws branches to be closed and the staff moved to the other branch (which is in the indoor market) not the best of positions but they do seem to be doing quite well and having some extra staff service is very good now.

Chatter on LSE is Barnsley has closed can anyone on here confirm?

“Gutted, branch closure, Barnsley chopped, manager said we are just to deer to meat targets on poultry weekly sales, its a pig of a day. Holy cow.”

I have emailed the company to get some clarification as I'm a little dubious this is actually correct.

I think if Dave with all the dosh, invites anyone for a nice meal in Beckenham,
it should be avoided like the plague

Hopefully playful. The business finally seems to be going in the direction, just need the share price to play ball!

K.B is above 3% so if he goes under they should notify the market and the significant shareholder list must be updated before the end of February so we'll get a better idea then.

I don't think he will sell as there is a distinct possibility in my opinion he might return and hanging on to those shares will help smooth the wheels of any transition.

I'd suggest you email R.R directly as he would reply but suspect you're going to get a response first thing Monday morning.
