16/11/2016 23:48 | That's a 10% bonus and then an extra bonus on top for reaching their target. . thats if they dont lose the card. would be interesting to ask the percentage redeemed. a large %age of gift tokens are never redeemed. | haroldthegreat
16/11/2016 21:49 | They must launch the Christmas hampers, surprised to see nothing on social media and the website recently. Hopefully they have something planned with shop posters & info graphics | playful
16/11/2016 21:45 | The nice thing here is they can adjust the weight instead of the price as you correctly noticed and the majority of punters don't notice the difference, but it's a fine line until they do and then you'll not see them again. Anything within 15% should be within tolerance. | playful
16/11/2016 09:39 | Harold the stamp was worth £2 and could be spent at any time. You can still buy stamps for £2 and when you have £46 on the card a free £4 stamp is given so that's another good discount. btw You don't have to spend it all at once. | optomistic
16/11/2016 09:34 | What was the stamp worth ?no doubt some people lose the cards so it costs the company less than giving a discount. Was the card to be redeemed at Xmas ? | haroldthegreat
15/11/2016 14:51 | Bought a couple of cooked chickens today for a fiver, makes tasty sarnies and plenty to freeze for future curries. I did see that the 1 kilo trays of casserole steak and braising steak are now 900 grammes, nice increase for the margin...hope it is not going to effect the sales, I am still a buyer as it is still v good value. Also when you spent £20 they gave you a stamp for the savings card, that has also gone now! Seems to me that the way forward is going to be to increase prices rather than increase value to boost the bottom line. ps. it will be interesting to hear if this is the same in other stores as well as mine. | optomistic
09/11/2016 20:26 | Yes it would help greatly. | tadders2
09/11/2016 20:06 | Shops seem busy and the staff also seem fairly jolly; generally a good sign but from an investor PR perspective I reckon the company should be doing more. And, as has been mentioned on here before, to see the likes of Collett and Richardson now taking a holding. | mcmather
09/11/2016 19:42 | Buys outnumbering the sells today and yet the share price down... if only I could workout the reason why :-/ | optomistic
07/11/2016 23:04 | Rule 26 has been updated today, shows somebody's listening to us. | playful
07/11/2016 22:49 | Good point. Don't suppose they can be asked? | tadders2
07/11/2016 20:41 | They really should set themselves a reminder to update rule 26 every six months as it's outside aim guidance once again. | playful
07/11/2016 18:54 | Lets hope we get some good LFL figures in January. I think we will just have to be patient. | tadders2
07/11/2016 18:39 | Thanks mcmather, £25K a week seems as they are quite busy, not being to good at working it out can you work out from those figures what the net profit is at that outlet? I can see we are looking at £1.3 mill annually for the unit which sounds even better than £25K/week :-) Still we are seeing nothing but sells on the book, but that I hope will be turning soon with the busy season approaching. | optomistic
07/11/2016 09:41 | Nope; but prominent location and results from West Brom factory outlet hopefully augur well - pages 27-30 on the Sept 2016 presentation on here. | mcmather
06/11/2016 15:49 | Any report as to how the new outlet traded in its first few days? | optomistic

01/11/2016 14:22 | Right on the main Road, next to fuel station, should attract some curious shoppers after filling up...and just a stones throw from Tesco Express, I don't think they are big on fresh meats so again should pick up some new customers from there. Dissapointing to see persitant selling of the shares though! | optomistic
27/10/2016 09:49 | "UK economy grows 0.5% in three months after Brexit vote". It most have been the Euros - in France - then that resulted in the reduced footfall... | mcmather
