30/7/2002 10:26 | What's going on here - 50% loss this morning | morose
10/7/2002 22:55 | Cranswick is proposing a one-for-one bonus share issue, which is subject to shareholders' approval at the AGM on July 29. Dealing in the new shares will begin on July 30. Unfortunately for me the recent fall in the share price triggered my stop loss and I no longer hold. (Instead I have a lot of Anite shares, doh!!) | esmerelda
10/7/2002 22:25 | Just to re-activate this BB.I have lost the date of the share split. Can anyone please inform me? Thanks | peteh1
12/6/2002 19:01 | Pretty good day today. I hold a few of these in my PEP so its nice to call one right for a change. You reckon its the share split that is driving the price up and not the consistent performance over the last two yrads? | esmerelda
12/6/2002 15:46 | up 5% now.... | animal
12/6/2002 09:48 | yawn... this boring company still going up... even today and it is due to split the shares | animal
07/6/2002 10:24 | a little island of blue in a sea of red | animal
06/6/2002 09:06 | over £10 now... and the uptrend continues to look strong. But I guess the business is just too dull for most. | animal
27/5/2002 08:31 | strong start first thing this am. Was it tipped at the weekend? | animal
24/5/2002 10:02 | There's a lot of nasty talk about meat of most varieties at the moment - see the references on the PRM thread. Puts me off CWK shares a bit - risk of sudden hit in the event of adverse news on meat products | morose
24/5/2002 09:06 | I think the problem is the use of sheep intestines as sausage skins, the risk being the transmission of sheep BSE to humans. Apparently 1 in 6 sausages are manufactured using these ingredients. Anyone know if Cranswick use them? D | dassera
23/5/2002 00:52 | I saw the CEO being interviewed on Bloomberg yesterday, and heard nothing about that. Infact he was bullish about future prospects. They also intend to grow by acquisition using the cash being generated by the current business. I think there is always a risk with these food producers of some kind of disease scare, but overall, it looks a good investment. | animal
23/5/2002 00:05 | Saw something on working lunch the other day about another disease affecting pigs which looks like having major impact on the industry. trying to remember but i think it said no cure,(no pun intended). also i think it was a british disease again. i'm not a holder of Craanswick but can't help being impressed with the results but this piece of news is holding me back though it doesn't seem to have affected the share price. anyone know anything to clear this up for me? | morose
22/5/2002 21:21 | Morose, I did not see the interview but suspect that they were discussing PMWS which is a virus disease of pigs. This disease does not affect humans - therefore unlikely to cause a food scare. Besides, it has been around in many countries for the last 8 or 9 years at least. | laborius
22/5/2002 09:30 | Also, the chart looks very good indeed. Given the growth, cash generation, and the share splitdoldrums, this is one which might be worth holding over the next few months. I bought a few this morning. | animal
21/5/2002 08:34 | Yes, they were excellent. | chester
21/5/2002 08:16 | Great figures today. | dassera
22/3/2002 10:07 | Tipped in March's issue of shareoracle with "strong sales in all 3 divisions" See it at - this months online version is free nice detailed and informative article - worth a read Dave | dave46
30/1/2002 00:05 | Poor volume - ?double top - out at 828 average. Good luck to holders. | cochise

25/1/2002 14:36 | Bought in twice yesterday, very glad I did now. | lodger
25/1/2002 11:59 | Good trading update today- above estimates. Nice bounce in progress. Stochs turned up from oversold, MACD cross for up. Techs getting hammered - should favour switch to less scary growth. Come on £9! | cochise
03/1/2002 00:58 | MTG - ditto. Not being tooooo greedy. :-) | lodger
03/1/2002 00:57 | My posh sausage is growing too, but it's privately held. :-) | the wah |
