Have noticed frequent large delayed X-trades at the opening ask.I think the technically overbought situation can remain a while longer, to £9+ ,as rerating of a high growth co. in "safe" industry continues.Hard not to fall in love with CWK in light of recent performance.People shifting to pork as BSE blights beef/lamb? My largest holding. Happy New Year to all Cranswickians.

This share seems to just keep on going, what do you lot think...overvalued or a good momentum play?

In since 680 - all my other stocks have given me a sore testing in coping with fear & greed - such a comforting chug-chug up the hill every day with this stock. Can't really recall where interest was stimulated; if it was here - many thanks! Added a few more today after the 50k cross trade at the ask. Good luck to all, and enjoy a materialist holiday season - should help to p. off Bin bag and the psycho-beards.

Cranswick seems to go up when the markets are bullish but tends to go up even more when the markets are down. It seems a very good defensive stock. Yes, I am a holder.

MTG - By the standards of a lot of people I imagine that I'm only playing at this investment game - More of a hobby than a way of life.
As long as I get a better return on what I've invested than I would with a bank or building society then I'm not unduly worried - but the more the better.
Trouble is I have to admit to buying too many bummers.
Re Cranswick - I'm a bit surprised to see them continue up today after the "Sell" advice at the weekend. I had expected them to drop a bit more, or at least stand still. Still, it's a nice problem to have.

iglet - I think most of us who are prepared to put in some effort know there are perfectly sensible and achievable returns well above the overly modest target you describe as adequate. There are many UT fund managers who would love us to regard 8% as adequate - it gives them the excuse they need to continue performing badly.

Meanwhile, back at Cranswick, the beat goes on.. But if you don't trust it to do so, just bank an occasional profit by selling some whenever the surplus gain exceeds your expectations. No harm in that.

hilly - I didn't see it. I think we'll just have to watch the price over the next couple of days but I'm not inclined to sell. It's a very good defencive stock whick I feal is ideal at the moment.
