17/4/2023 10:20 | So how much cash have draftkings got, they are worth $bns. I am happy to keep putting very small amounts in at a regular interval. If it takes years to come good that will be good enough for me, I am investing for my children to benefit not me. dyor | srpactive
17/4/2023 10:12 | double post error. | clocktower
17/4/2023 10:12 | Agreed srp - Less us hope they stick to doing so. However, I regret to say that I do find the valuation of the company at circa £13,000,000 to be way over valued for a company that has, shall we say £2 m at best in cash at year end (I think it will be around £1,600,000 though)and loss making. ADVFN needs to update the number of shares on the website, as it has not added the 28+ million to the 170 million listed. | clocktower
17/4/2023 09:44 | Yes quarter by quarter will give a good view. £15000 loss this time, the interest on part of the £1.7m will help too. dyor | srpactive
17/4/2023 09:30 | Let us hope they provide the next quarters figures within three weeks of the end of this quarter as well. It will be very interesting to see what cash they have at the end of that period and the full year, as they will not be able to say further enhanced though the £1.7m (gross) as they will have to state what remains, which might give some indication as to how much net they received from the placing. Hopefully they will be more open and state what the net cash is and state receivables separately. So would anyone like to forecast the full year loss? | clocktower
17/4/2023 07:49 | Happy with the results myself, have said big backlog in yr starting July 2023. dyor | srpactive
17/4/2023 07:22 | While today’s news is very good, they are hiding the true cash position at the end of the quarter by including receivables in the total cash but they do not state what the debts outstanding are. Smoke and mirrors which does not sit well. I also doubt the next quarter will be as good, as new staff costs and expenses rise to kick start the US contract. There was talk if breakeven earlier in the financial year I believe, well that’s out the window. I estimate that at best it will be 2024/2025 before it becomes profitable, and that is if costs are well controlled as new contracts come along. However I expect big things in 2025/2026 and if the shares are 2p or less by then it will be a massive buy impo. DYOR | clocktower
06/4/2023 07:32 | RNS Amati acquire a 7.6% stake if I read it correctly. dyor | srpactive
05/4/2023 07:58 | Yes I continue to nibble from low to higher as I have stated. This is what I do with small caps with growth. The instis are investing as possibly happy with the US contract. When 12p you rubbished them. You are just here to spite me. | srpactive
04/4/2023 20:37 | Srp , I will talk about whatever I fancy and the fact is you have made statements about nibbling for many years but never about selling even when they were a lot higher than they are currently. I think you stated that you have never sold any, well I take that with a pinch of salt, no a bucket full in fact. You should be keen to be recognised as someone that got in at or near the base price and saw the potential. You know very well the company is way overvalued currently and until such time as it can turn a profit it will continue to be so. So rather than nibble maybe you should consider putting your cash in a piggy bank account, as you might be able to buy a lot more shares if the price falls back to where they once were before even if the company maybe super successful in due course. I think you were saying you were nibbling at over 10p, if I am wrong please point it out. It’s one thing to own a thousand or two, like I do in many companies from time to time even if I think I will be able to buy them much cheaper a few months or years later, as it focuses the mind and when you see the shares bombed out, do your research and when the time looks right buy a big wedge and either win big or loose the lot. So, I will keep waiting to see if I can add a big batch if I perceive they are about to turn a profit but I think that will still take time, and maybe at 3p Good luck. | clocktower
04/4/2023 08:26 | CT Do not talk about my positions as I am not interested in any of yours. Others here. As I have said I continue to buy small amounts like a pension, hopefully for years to come as the company grows. I might be right or wrong. New ceo soon I would have thought. dyor | srpactive
03/4/2023 15:19 | Just seen they're recruiting software developers in Australia at the moment. | myn0k
03/4/2023 12:35 | LOL srp. the only thing that has slithered back towards the bargain price you bought stock at is Cordel shares, hence the dilution. Still you must have made a packet and that was a great achievement. However, if you bought back on the drop with your huge profits, I guess they are not looking as hot as they once were. Still, another ten years and I guess you will be back in the money big time here. More options that will be worthless for some time issued I see. When do you think the next set of figures will come out, or trading statement with the current cash position now they have extra fire power in the kitty. A few trips on the cards I guess, to employee a few more Yanks, and maybe Vegas would be a good place to interview the extra staff required. | clocktower
31/3/2023 21:32 | CT is just another yank rubbishing every slight positive UK stock, using descriptions like " haircut " relating to financial matters. Now they have raised money and stated financial contract values he might slither off. active | srpactive
31/3/2023 20:53 | They will be paid to bring in more contracts possibly. dyor | srpactive
31/3/2023 13:24 | Go rubbish a US stock like draftings worth billions making nowt. | srpactive
31/3/2023 11:03 | That ScuffolkJim is what I have been saying for a very long time, it will take time and money before it becomes profitable. However, in the meantime it just supports the lifestyle of the BoD - bear in mind how much money they have already burned through and how they changed tracks under the companies previous name. Lets focus on what the new money is being used for: "The gross proceeds of the Placing will be used as follows: - c. GBP1.0m: additional sales and technical staff - c. GBP0.2m: AI classification as a service project - c. GBP0.5m: working capital and Placing expenses " So in addition to to current staff overheads £1 million is going to be used to pay more staff over 1.5 years. "On 15 March 2023, the Company announced that it had been awarded a contract by Amtrak to supply a fully automated software suite for survey and clearance management. Amtrak is the main provider of intercity passenger rail service in the United States, with a 21,000 mile network that connects 46 states, the District of Columbia, and three Canadian Provinces. This contract is valued at US$6.7m over 6.5 years." So the contract is worth around $1 million a year - £830,000.00 pa - so year one at best your left with around £80k to cover all the other expenses all these new staff may require to support their jobs. So year one and two it is unlikely this will wash it's face. A lot more contracts are required that do not require investment of this nature. The placing alone has wiped a small amount of money off, and how much working capital is being added out of the £0.5 million. Will this be the last round of funding needed - I doubt it on the basis they required so much money for extra staff for big new contracts. same goes for Europe if they land a whopper I guess. Target 3/4p remains. Those that put up funds at 13p have really taken a haircut. What a investment that was! | clocktower
31/3/2023 09:39 | CT I think you need to look up what a lifestyle business is. This is an early stage tech company, and in common with most companies of that kind it takes time before profits and dividends come on stream | suffolkjim
31/3/2023 09:29 | One more thing - unless I missed something - the directors never even took up some of the shares, so diluted themselves - but I guess they will award themselves more options in due course as well, or wait until the share price slides. Please correct me if I am wrong, and I will amend this post. Target now 3/4p. | clocktower
31/3/2023 09:19 | LOL - the opposite srp - I am very positive about the long term prospects of the company due to the quality of the product but bar being taken over I think you will see the shares slide further over the next twelve months as they burn through this cash as well. I think it will be three years before the company makes a profit, so for now it is a lifestyle business. Seriously you cannot think this will have a market cap of around £12 million in six months time. | clocktower
31/3/2023 08:57 | Do not want you to say anything, you will just continue with your negative posts as per usual probably. Goodbye. | srpactive
31/3/2023 08:52 | And what do you expect me to say srp - I have been waiting for you to acknowledge there was a need for this placing, rather than your normal negativity to my posts because of what I believed to be essential to take the company forward. | clocktower
31/3/2023 07:53 | Oversubscribed massive suport for our USA contract and growth, now we should see some media interest with a little luck. I continue to nibble as I have said very small amounts as a pension type. Exciting times. dyor | srpactive
30/3/2023 22:30 | Great news if £1.7m is all that's needed to cover costs and drive growth. Have to say I was expecting rather more dilution of my already rather beaten down stake. Also, no other horrors included in the rns, which in my book is a positive! | rambutan2
30/3/2023 21:27 | Interesting rns, going for US growth. Interesting to see the new investors, we spiked to 10p after the initial US contract release. dyor | srpactive |
