Nice to see bid creeping up with tiny buys, that is what I like about here there seems very little overhang, and even light buying moves us north. Will be interesting to what happens when a significant RNS lands.

The only lithium at Corcel is the lithium taken by Corcel shareholders to treat depression. Be careful.

The worrying aspect, when you listen to Kaintz is he actually thinks Corcel has done well under his tenure, anyone investing £1000 when the new 'team' were installed have already lost £650 of their cash, legacy Regency Mines shareholders have, in effect, been wiped out.

In respect of Ascent Resources it is Andrew Dennan who runs the company, Parsons has been little heard of since his appointment, when Dennan took over he immediately bought £100,000 shares at 5p, the directors of Corcel PLC have pitiful holdings in comparison.

Regency Mines' James Parsons on his new challenge in the battery metals arena

Proactive Writer

... Why the slight shift in focus away from upstream E&P?

I remain involved in the space of course and it still has much to offer. But it is certainly true that the E&P sector has never been more challenging, and the simple fact is that equity markets right now are increasingly not recognising Net Asset Values or rewarding success at the drill bit. There are still opportunities in upstream E&P, of course, particularly in strong regional gas markets such as Southern Cone / South East Asia / North Africa and in “special situations” such as sanctioned countries. But outside of these niche opportunities, I see long term decline and an increasingly difficult journey to attract new investment.

I believe battery metals however are a critical part of our future. ...

And Southport is shovel ready.
Metcoal - under the co-tenure of Kaintz should do well too.

In the case of CRCL, I am primarily backing the sector and the assets.

Good management is simply a bonus, but it just so happens that it's fantastic.

Though I think that even average management could do well CRCL's assets, in a developing battery metals bull market.

James Parsons has also been a director of some oil companies that have had poor share prices performances, but during a vicious seven year oil stock bear market, when oil stocks as a whole have been devastated.

Even the most brilliant director can not swim against that sort of tide.

That said, he did ten-bag Sound Energy at one point during this period before it went into decline again.

This is a typical oil stock chart from the last decade:

So AST more than 7-bagged in barely five months recently, from under 2p to over 14p.
Oh dear Kem, caught out lying yet again!

Well done to James Parsons on such a superb job.

The same sort of job as he's doing here at CRCL in fact ... except that here the share price rise is still to come.

That's why JP was very recently buying more CRCL in the premium fundraise at 1.25p

Current AST market capitalisation: £13.40 million.

But CRCL should greatly exceed that.

What we really need is a chart of some totally unrelated company that has gone through the roof. That is always a reliably safe bet.

His history, as is laid bare for all to marvel at, consists of turning micro-caps into picayune caps.
