16/8/2012 16:20 | Who called that one wrong? I never pertain to get every one of them right but unlike you, I still have class! | duxy786
16/8/2012 16:02 | And another leg down as we speak! | jotoha2
16/8/2012 15:54 | jotoha2...you need learn to read mate...or is that you SHORT sightedness! "I think if it stays at this level today then we finally hit rock bottom.," "IF" being the key word, we obviously haven't but do I look worried? :-) | duxy786
16/8/2012 15:47 | Duxy , thats exactly what you said when it hit 10p , its now nearly 40% below that , great call!! | jotoha2
16/8/2012 15:45 | Leobull , if they run out of cash , which from where I;m standing is a cert , then how will they continue to pay themselves those lovely salaries and expenses ? Their legal dispute will not be sorted for at least 6/9 months ,Lawyers just love to spin out these disputes, time is money , certainly if you are in the legal game! | jotoha2
16/8/2012 10:15 | I think if it stays at this level today then we finally hit rock bottom., we'll probably get a little dip down but I daubt anyone will be able to buy. Lets see what end of a dire week brings. Mitch has some serious explaining to do here | duxy786
15/8/2012 08:32 | Thanks Leoneobull. | the count of monte_cristo
14/8/2012 20:54 | Joto's posts are scaremongering. they do not need to raise more cash because they have almost achieved what they set out to do - prove up resources. they just need 2 sit tight solve legal probs & get a JV lined up to see this rerated multifold...The Count thanks 4 emailing the Philippines embassy in London as well as the UK Embassy in the Philippines......i will do likewise & ask for a response. It is disgraceful - who do they think they are Hugo Chavez? | leoneobull
14/8/2012 17:19 | Nah, I don't think so, in April this year they had 12m GBP cash, they suspended the drilling in June to assess the 32,000m of drill results, the work on Hinoba-an is now pretty much complete, so please explain exactly why you think they need a 5p placing? Your posts look like scare mongering. Hmm, weren't posters like you reported and successfully prosecuted over on the Nighthawk, NTOG and GKP bbs? Your posts have been reported to ADVFN, detailing that you are scaremongering about a possible placing, got a short on the company by any chance? April 2012 - Well funded with cash balance of approximately £12 million 14 June 2012 - Completion of 34,002 Metres of Drilling at Basay and Suspension of Further Drilling Pending Deeper Study of Results and Geology With a View to a Possible JV and Resignation of Director We emphasise that this decision was NOT taken because CDC is running out of money. Our modelling indicated it will have about $14M of cash on hand at the end of 2012 and no need to borrow or raise additional capital this year. | the count of monte_cristo
14/8/2012 16:49 | Market cap reflects the markets view , clearly cash is low ! | jotoha2
14/8/2012 16:48 | Guys , why the panic , once the next round of financing is sorted then the share price will rise for the money men to make a turn , 5p placing looks a cert! | jotoha2
14/8/2012 13:15 | I emailed the Philippines embassy in London as well as the UK Embassy in the Philippines on the 9th Aug to notify them of this issue, I pointed out that this makes a mockery of how the Philippines is seen to work with and treat foreign mining companies and that it could have ramifications outside of just the CDC sphere. I supplied a link to the LSE RNS of the 8th Aug as well as two online newspaper articles. I have received no response as yet, I was not expecting any, but hope that they are now at least aware of the situation. Regards, The Count | the count of monte_cristo
14/8/2012 12:56 | Leoneobull RE: 380 - Thanks for the post and emailing Mitch. | duxy786
14/8/2012 12:04 | Dear Mr Alland. I read with concern the RNS issued on 8th August by CDC while on holiday. • Has CDC sought to contact UK Trade and Investment within the British Embassy in the Philippines in order to bring diplomatic pressure to bear on the relevant authorities, who appear to be acting in a manner that not only breaks commercial law but also jeopardises the future of CDC? • What is the approximate anticipated timeframe for resolving this problem? • What specific resolutions were passed at the AGM? This is not stated in the RNS. Having raised £40m in capital, we now only have a market cap of £15m and having invested a substantial sum in equity, I am concerned about the situation. Best regards | leoneobull
14/8/2012 11:52 | we have a 15m £ market cap yet we raised 40m cash. what is mitch doing? | leoneobull
13/8/2012 13:49 | Testing testing times! | duxy786
12/8/2012 13:06 | £30k plus return - well done however the points made about cashburn completely miss picture as to what type of co. CDC is. They have been doing intensive drilling to prove up to then either sell out or JV. of course during the drilling with 5 rigs they incurred significant cash burn but once the investment is ready to go it's a qn of marketing it not more drilling... So sorting out legal probs remains our no. 1 prob | leoneobull
12/8/2012 11:01 | Jotoha2, why go long in a company who's management you clearly have no faith in and believe they have a high cash burn and are selling out to shorters? Well done seeing 30k here. Good luck with your short! LoL | duxy786_2
11/8/2012 06:56 | Leobell , small fry I may be , but have played this on the ups and downs , so very happy with my £30k plus return here, as I said will go long when this mess is sorted and there is a clear future for the company!! | jotoha2
10/8/2012 16:10 | Think the down move has ended today with a lucky buyer at 0.069, whilst soma paid 0.085 before open. Sellers now dying down, so whoever was offloading is possibly done. Wait and see Monday. | duxy786
10/8/2012 14:37 | jotoha is right, CDC has insufficient cash resources and is spending money like its going out of fashion. It raised $71.8m in the period to Jan 1st 2011, which fell to $47.1m at the half-year stage and $26.8m by Dec 31st 2011. It will be close to zero in a couple of months. Combined with the poor newsflow of late one would expect the downwards move to continue. | bam bam rubble
10/8/2012 10:01 | jotoha2 - they're not taking a sovereign state to court....they are seeking the enforcement of their rights to an exploration license that a govt agency drew up...you are an IGIndex shorter. small fry. | leoneobull
10/8/2012 09:33 | jotoha2 " If you also do some research then you will find that the major holders have been loaning out the stock for the purpose of shorting" This is what I find unusual. I'd rather sell the stock than loan it out to shorters. At the end of the day shorters can only succeed if the rot is there to start with, like kicking a wall that is falling down. | nick rubens
10/8/2012 08:34 | hate to say it but the brown envelopes is the only way, talking from experience | empirestate |
