15/12/2011 07:19 | lol share buyback, is that a wind up? | was mejmillys
15/12/2011 07:14 | News - share buy back program (upto 10%) and slight delay on the Hinoba-an Copper Project pre-feasibility study and also the Basay project JORC inferred-category statement. | ![]() affc21
14/12/2011 16:12 | Agree Leone. but this is currently being guided by China's short term requirements for Copper. The long term picture IMO still is a massive shortage. I have complete sold out here, but as soon as funds are available, I will be more than happy to pile in. Obviously the lower the better for me, but the current level is low enough for this one! Having just broken support, this does look to go lower so a while before some here can take profit. Keep buying on the dips and get a nice steak ready for the showdown end of next year! 05/12/2011 09:34 | Thanks afcc21. It would be great if Mitch brought in a global player to develop either of our 2 main sites through a JV. Or announced a big deal with the chinese! | ![]() leoneobull
04/12/2011 21:54 | According to a poster (knowsnothing) on Stockhouse, Mitch Alland (CEO of CDC and Crazy Horse Resources) is supposedly in China (I can not validate this, so please do your own due diligence): | ![]() affc21
04/12/2011 20:19 | Leoneobull - While we are waiting for above mentioned news, thought I would post a quick biography of Mitchell Alland, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Copper Development Corporation: Mr Alland is currently a director of Solfotara Mining Corp. and Emerging Metals Limited, an AIM-listed company. From January 2008 until July 2009, Mr Alland was CEO of Emerging Metals Limited. From 2005 to 2007, Mr Alland was Executive Vice Chairman and ultimately (from March 2008) CEO of AIM-listed Copper Resources Corporation, a previous owner of the Hinoba-an Project. Prior thereto, Mr Alland had a 23-year career at the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation, its affiliate responsible for private sector project financing in developing countries, working as a Senior Operations Officer, Chief Investment Officer and eventually Division Manager. Mr Alland has extensive experience with mining projects worldwide, starting with early attempts in the 1970s to develop the Tenke-Fungurume copper project in Congo (then Zaire), and, following in 1975 to 1986, with major projects by Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines, ZCCM, (then Nchanga Consolidated Copper Mines, NCCM), including the financing and review of the company's major expansion projects, among them its major copper tailings leach and cobalt projects, as well as supervision of the company's activities throughout the period. Mr Alland's subsequent activities in minerals and mining involved the LAMCO iron ore project in Liberia, the MIBA diamond project and the Kilimoto gold project in Congo (Zaire) and financing of the Alucam (Pechiney) aluminum smelter in Cameroon. Subsequent experience in 1990 to 1992 involved mining projects in South America, including Escondida (copper) in Chile, Comsur, largest private mining company in Bolivia, Yanacocha (gold) and Southern Peru Copper in Peru. From 1991 to 1992, Mr Alland was a director of Comsur and an alternate director of Escondida. Mr Alland holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.A. from Harvard College. | ![]() affc21

02/12/2011 20:34 | Basay copper project A Basay JORC compliant resource is expected to be released before the end of year. As stated by the company on 11 November 2011: Ongoing Basay Drilling Programme To date, the Company has completed 35 holes of the expanded 46 hole drill programme with five rigs currently drilling 24 hours a day. In total, 18,150 metres of an initial 18,615 metre drill programme designed to confirm the historical mineralisation and to define a JORC compliant resource at Basay has now been completed, with 10 additional holes being added to cover extensions to known mineralisation. The initial core programme of 18,615 metres of drilling is expected to be completed by the end of November, after which the Company expects to release a JORC compliant resource at Basay before the end of the year. The backlog of Basay assays pending, caused as a result of assay laboratories running at full capacity this year due to the mining boom, is currently being dealt with and the Company expects that all the data for the Southeast and Central deposits will be collated in time for resource statements on those two major deposits by year-end. CDC has a 70% interest in the Basay Project. | ![]() affc21
30/11/2011 13:08 | China cuts reserve requirement ratio, which I presume is why we have a spike up in the markets... News soon here (due two RNS's by year end - see CDC's news releases). | ![]() affc21

10/11/2011 13:46 | it's not CDC-specific....it's the wider market. i think it will not fall below 17p....i rather think that an RNS should be due any time this month | ![]() leoneobull
09/11/2011 01:19 | Well back on track on its way down to 17p support, breaking this, in to freefall again, could this seriously hit single figures? | ![]() duxy786
02/11/2011 19:40 | Still a little way to go, hold on to your cash, dont let the MM's full you in and watch the stops....the ride down is no fun, but the ride up will be hugh.....especially if you buy in roughly at bottom! Hard to bottom pick (uuugghh, sounds nasty right?) but when you know you know! Good luck with your investments! Duxy786 | ![]() duxy786
01/11/2011 17:16 | csi - Am of the opinion the recent spike has no real substance and it will test 17-18p again. I could be totally wrong and we SPIKE tomorow/this week like we did in FEB-MAR but am not holding my breath. Not holding and felt a little gutted when I discoved this had spike last few dayf from 17-22p, thought I'd missed the boat, but I believe this little 'bear-trap' has a little way to go yet. I intend to hold a significant quanity before the end of 2011 | ![]() duxy786
01/11/2011 14:13 | time to buy more when it hits, 17p again? | csilondon

27/10/2011 10:21 | i should have thrown my kitchen sink into this | csilondon
27/10/2011 10:20 | It's looking very cheap Leo, cash plus resource plus management has to make this one of the most undervalued miners on AIM. I say management in part to the £80m MC on admission, a serious vote of confidence. Good luck. | gerryjames
27/10/2011 10:10 | Gerry - many thanks. | ![]() leoneobull |
