30/4/2020 08:26 | Just more justification for the next placing ie we are doing something. The Clontibret JV partner wording is completely insipid. | ![]() craffert

29/4/2020 11:32 | Well put RG, when the gold standard was removed and the world became a basket case in the late 70’s, early 80’s gold rallied over 2000%. If we take a base of 200$ (when GB decided it wasn’t sensible to hold Hugh gold reserves, strange that the so educated pick the perfect low to sell) then + 2000% from this point would equate to £4000 / 5000 / oz, hence some of the tiddlers will rise 100 fold but one needs a spread of tiddlers, a rising tide will probably lift all boats but some much more than others. We saw what happened to ERIS resources yesterday and this was just a similar story to what CGNR has been releasing over the last 20 years, just different timing. They all need finance and a major with deep pockets to get interested. Once that happens, any pig can fly, all be it, temporarily. | ![]() goggin
29/4/2020 10:01 | Sentiment changes- and it can change overnight...... Conroy had little problem raising £1.8 Million 28 October 2010 Ironically Gold was circa $1300 - and maybe Market sentiment then saw Gold rising to its $1900. Ironic that Gold is now $1700 and sentiment towards most Gold stocks is truly dreadful. Now imagine how this will change when all realise Gold will eventually go far further than $2000. Only those that don`t understand Gold and what is happening with all Major Confetti Currencies that will prove they are not "real Money "- will miss the relevance of how sentiment is going to eventually be so incredibly in favour of Gold Tiddlers. Conroy has certainly achieved a lot more since 2010,so maybe it just remains the possibilities of what it could achieve when the so called Market starts to back it. I believe there are 10-20- 50 baggers(or more ) to be had in Canada`s TSX-V,and it will happen (not for all) and that`s why you need a good selection. Just maybe Conroy will be one of Aim`s future true multi-baggers. Yes-It will need Management to deliver the right story - and deliver on that- this coming "Gold and Silver as the only true Money to be had" - era that is now upon us. I`d certainly rather hold several Gold stocks than Apple and so many other $multi-Billion valued stocks- that are not telling the truth of what is coming in the next few years. I have waited so patiently and now we are on the cusp of what I predicted years ago "The dot-Com era of Gold and Silver stocks " IMHO. | ![]() richgit

27/4/2020 23:46 | RNS of 24/4. "as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Company is undertaking limited exploration work at the current time and expenditure is being kept to a minimum". So I would imagine the company is letting the Irish taxpayer pay its staff to sit at home and do nothing as opposed to having the shareholders paying them to come into the office to do nothing. Well at least it's progress. | ![]() chrysos
25/4/2020 21:31 | I would have thought that in the event of a JV being announced or an offer being made for the company Conroy would cancel the placees subscription for shares .You know Conroy can be funny and would make sure whoever's not paid up would not benefit from any appreciation in the share price Any whispers in the media that something is going to be announced and the 150K would be in the companies account the next day. I dare say if Zak Mir is right and the share price rises to 18P over the next month the funds will also appear!! | ![]() rbonnier
25/4/2020 16:09 | Hardly good news either!! WITH no clear date when the placing will be filled. Question ,can a JV take place or will it have to wait for the placing to be settled ? just out of interest ! | ![]() hooops
25/4/2020 11:07 | If/when will the 150k arrive! Doesn't say much for the brokers due diligence on the investor. | ![]() bageo
25/4/2020 09:41 | Hooops it wasnt bad news it was an update on the placing proceeds to advise that one of the placees has now settled their account and the other placee has paid another 13k and has 150k still outstanding .They had 38K on Friday more than they had on Thursday ! it wasnt bad news . | ![]() rbonnier
25/4/2020 09:10 | They seem to only issue bad news after hours or on bank holidays . HOPE YOU ALL GET A JV DEAL. | ![]() hooops
24/4/2020 18:28 | That wouldn't be a very good move on a Friday after the bell if prof needs to ramp up the share price for another placing at 12P to replace the £150k they probably are not going to get . Monday morning at 7 am would be better . | ![]() rbonnier

23/4/2020 09:56 | well they've got to ramp the price back over 12p to have any chance of getting those placing shares paid for I imagine - Brandon Hill Capital on the hook for those shares currently ??? not sure how it works | ![]() witchywoo
23/4/2020 07:03 | Conroy Gold and Natural Resources plc (AIM: CGNR), the gold exploration and development Company focused on Ireland and Finland, announced on 18 February 2020 a combined Placing and Subscription to raise £302,500 (before expenses). The Placing component of the fundraise, totalling £250,000, was arranged by Brandon Hill Capital Limited, the Company’s broker (“BHC”). The Company has become aware that one of the Placees still has a balance of £163,000 outstanding for settlement, having already part settled £12,000 of its placing participation. The settlement date for this Placee was 20 March 2020. The Placee has reconfirmed to BHC its intention to settle in full this outstanding balance within a reasonable timeframe.
