So what happens when a major takes over a moribund junior that can no longer pay it's way? SXX, that is what! I don't imagine any major gold company is interested in anything bar keeping the licences. Certainly not in keeping management on board, so assuming IF there is a deal, they will likely want 75% and even if they buy out at 20p, or 30p,(that is 0.3p pre-consolidation) while that is a relatively decent return on a small volume for anyone who has bought in in the last 2 years, whereas Management, who had their shares "bought for them" by PIs will be laughing all the way to the bank, but then wasn't that always the plan?

Conroy Gold is in discussions with "at least half a dozen" global mining companies about a joint venture to develop a number of gold mines across Monaghan, Cavan and Armagh, the Sunday Independent has learned.

Conroy - which believes it could be sitting on very significant gold deposits in the Border regions - saw its share price jump by close to 50pc last week, meaning it has risen 160pc since the start of the year.

"This is a major find and that has been recognised in industry terms, and it is now being recognised on the stock market," said founder and chairman Professor Richard Conroy.

The company is looking to put in place a joint venture to finance and develop at least three gold mines along a 60km gold trend that it has discovered in the Border region. Efforts to bring on board a major international mining player have "moved a long way", with visits from geologists and senior executives of six separate companies in recent months to Conroy's main Clontibret site.

"The interest is there, we've had the visits, and the message is certainly out there in the industry and beginning to go out to the market that this could be something quite serious," said Conroy.

"It's nice to see the share price move towards the asset value. It's very pleasant to see and I think people are beginning to realise the sheer size of the discovery that we have made and the potential.

"It has taken a long time, but major exploration does tend to take a long time."

Conroy said that the company had invested up to €19m on developing the project to date. Shares were trading at 14.75p on Friday.

Potential joint venture partners would likely want to take a stake of at least 50pc in the company, but would finance the next phase of development.

Concern that the project has moved too slowly has created friction with some major shareholders in the past and Conroy said that proposed timelines would play a part in deciding on a joint venture partner.

He said: "We have something that could be very big in international terms, but one of the big majors could put a longer timeline on it than a smaller company might. There have been one or two ripples, but shareholders have by and large been very patient. But it is time now for us to have these discussions and we'd like to move on with it."

To some extent buying Tiddlers with a "Good story" is somewhat like the Lottery,
yet with far far better odds.

No need to risk too much - yet Personally if I buy 10 tiddlers to add to my other Investments (most of my -relatively Tiddlers- at the moment in the PI Brain dead graveyards in Canada TSXV-TSX

I reckon I will get at least 1 - 20 Bagger over time (maybe far More).


Conroy has massive "potential" as the 5Million Ounce + potentiallers listed in London like CGH are very rare these days ( yet excessively undervalued )
Whilst Conroy is currently one of the most undervalued anywhere - yet has proven assets + 20Year History

I would be staggered if such Potential telephone numbers of Gold value remains
in the Ground.


Mr Conroy surely wants to now see this moved to the end game,as (no disrespect) He isn`t going to live forever.

No Guarantees- just a Logic that Gold is going to become more than just - the only real Money.

As a follower in EUA for some 20 years my (now silence from me) huge payback has dawned.


Conroy now "has" a resource of circa 600,000 Ounces,a potential Mine sitting there
and believable evidence of a continuity within its 40 Mile mega Licence area, to suggest that there are "Potentially" Millions of ounces-possibly 8 Million.





Like EUA (that fortunately escaped going Bankrupt following in the 2008 Market routs)I would suggest that Logically having survived some 20 years (when so many did not)...it is somewhat unlikely that Conroy and its Gold is now going to disappear when the most important news people should be following - yet are blinkered to - is how the Fed is already Bankrupt bar printing infinitive paper IOU`s...................

It was the Repo Market that caused the 2008 Financial debacle and now it`s even worse-yet the Fed hides beind "Non QE " and repo armageddon (IMHO)

I buy Conroy along with spread risk in Majors, Juniors, Explorers and anything "Gold" with a good story to tell.

Plus a lot of Vaulted Silver

Decisions-Decisions.

When Gold/Silver are the only "real" Money around and the Gangster Banksters
can no longer hide the fact with their Thousands of Tonnes of Fake Paper Gold Contracts in the Comex Fraud Casino ,Futures Markets,Mindboggling Derivatives and OTC EPF frauds -
,as the World`s elite Gangsters Pour their obscene wealth into it. "Physical Gold " along with the Central Banks !!

And gawd knows what will,happen when Joe Bloggs follows the Trillionaires,Billionaires,and the Millionaires,that are all trying to protect their wealth from the Fed et al !!


When Gold Mining volumes are declining,whilst many Majors and their Investors scream for "more resources" ? ....

.... they Consolidate or Bid for others else they end up on the slidy slope of "Declining future resources " that Share Holders will truly fret about or move their Investments to the Miner that has those resources !!

When the last men standing that can be bid for before the World wakes up to what is really going on - at amicable bids-then Hostile bids... then the very few left standing will eventually be bid for at obscene "Name your Price !!! )

Whilst I do not suggest any Bid for Conroy- it would be insanity to think that
all that Gold will not be valued.or remain ignored.

600 Ounces in the Kitty -20 years of now reasonable deduction that there could be 8Million Ounces - and so much else that many ignore

What could Conroy be worth !!?


Arguably a hell of a lot more than Petty Cash.

My mistake, it was 100:1, November 23rd 2015, they went from nearly half a billion to 4.37M shares and have since climbed back to ~30M so 700% further dilution since the consolidation

I hope the day traders are making a killing here. Investors like me haven't a hope. This remains a completely lost cause but if anyone is making a killing on these silly ups and downs good luck to them.

This went from £11.11 to whatever it is today but there was also a 200 to 1 share consolidation!

Effectively, it went from 222,200p to 5 or 6p before the recent spike.

Wichy too young, I'd never wish to make an issue of your youth and inexperience. Time is a great eaquiliser and what is your problem with cgnr? We all know its history which is history. Set you face to the sun, the future is bright, its called Gold and Hydrogen, keep an eye on the Hydrogen market, its not too late to join the party :-)
