03/7/2020 21:55 | A partner might require actual performance. A real partner would look at the track record and take over operator-ship, retire off the Prof and actually do what he has been hinting at doing for 20 years. The black swan event here is that he gives away 75% of the licenses for no future capex, a requirement for a £60mn investment in the next 2 years and a smelter royalty. Ker ching. But he won't. As others know, its a nicer life to place shares, to sweet FA and keep churning the story. One day rodders... | craffert
03/7/2020 21:54 | So why is the price rising on very low volume? | goggin
03/7/2020 20:28 | Crikey lads ( and lasses ) ! You don't seriously think they are serious about having a partner as long as there are people ( I am being nice ) who continue to support their fundraisings and hence ensure "continuity of supply" for their outlandish ( my opinion ) remuneration deals......🙄 A partner would mean that they would have to achieve something instead of just collecting their fees and being "delighted" about things!!!!! | thecynical1
02/7/2020 22:08 | It's not a major, it's a backer. Who backed Dalradian? Think about it. In a rising gold bull market, even sxxxe rises. Time will tell. | goggin
01/7/2020 20:24 | I see that Rio has washed its hands of any association with Conroy over at Karelian. Doesn't bode well for the much promised and yet never delivered joint venture with one of the numerous interested major mining companies on the Irish gold projects. But no doubt that will be blamed on Covid19, despite a buoyant gold price. | chrysos

11/6/2020 08:51 | if ever there was an environment for getting a deal done he has to get it over the line now and hand operator status over to someone more credible. Otherwise this is a dead duck | craffert

11/5/2020 18:15 | Chrysos I just checked out the SGZ website (in Cononish projects). Proven stated as 24,000 ozs Au at 11.5 g/t Probable stated as 174,000 ozs Au at 11.1 g/t Measured & Indicated says 248,000 ozs Au plus another 18,000 ozs Au in inferred. Grade across all resources 13.4g/t Au Where is the 2m ozs Au? Have I missed something? | mineng
11/5/2020 13:03 | bullsheet continues btw - if you did not notice | kaos3
11/5/2020 12:43 | @mrmark, by your own admission this resource "news" is EIGHT (2012) years old. Given that zero progress has been made since, your post can only be construed as blatant ramping, based on overall gold price volatility. I can't see why mining company getting out of bed for 0.3Moz at 2g/t. Contrast this for example with Scotgold, a REAL mining company, which has around 2Moz, at over 10x the grade (11-13g/t), importantly nearly half as PROVEN & PROBABLE RESERVE, not resource, and has already built a £26M operating mine infrastructure. SGZ's market cap is around £25M so 10x Conroy's, as is its grade. I don't see much justification for your 20p, i.e. a market cap of £6M given the above comparison. SGZ v. CGNG; Reserve: 0.85Moz # 11g/t v. NIL; Resource: 1.1Moz @ 13g/t v. 0.5Moz @2g/t; Capital investment: £26.8M v. NIL; SP: 55p v 11p; Issue: 55M v. 26M; DYOR 4x the reserve/resource £26m of hard assets 10x the market cap | chrysos
10/5/2020 14:40 | Can see this being 20p in a flash, wasn't much stock available last week and any sustained buying will drive this very quickly higher. The fund is willing to pay the 12p and so will expect 20-30p short term or wouldn't pay.A (JORC 2012) estimated resource of 320,000 Oz Au Indicated, 197,000 Oz Au Inferred (517,000 Oz Au) at an overall grade of 2 g/t Au has been established on a fraction of one of the gold target areas (Clontibret) with the majority of the drilling to date to a depth of less than 200m and a maximum depth of 350 metres. The deposit remains open in all directions as well as to depth and excellent gold intersections, e.g. 16.6m at 6.5 g/t Au, have been recorded outside the current resource area. | mrmark1

30/4/2020 17:55 | The Deputy Sheriff warns against this company and suggests another placing may be on the cards . This is currently way over valued and he just despairs. | rbonnier
30/4/2020 15:55 | the JV for Clontibret should be the one and only focus here. Anything else is just rinse, repeat. If he doesn't get a JV over the line in the next 3 months it is never going to happen - would be better to hand over the licenses to a real company | craffert
30/4/2020 09:37 | At last they have thought to look at data from 1987 and 1989 - who knows they may look at 2020 data in 2050 and beyond as they explore! | bageo
30/4/2020 08:55 | Maybe they need to place again because the placee hasn't come up with the cash in the last one . | rbonnier |
