I know But...what is best? And what the new goverment may want? We should not give up an inch of land till we secure the permit.

Book, the company have been through all this and the decision has been made. The majority of the villagers didn't want resettling so we had to change all our mine designs etc.

But it is risky to negotiate if later we cant mine next to a village. We should press for resettlement. With a new goverment it may be possible. Too risky to negotiate bfr elections?

These people rely on the land for future generations. Cnr mine may last 10 years. AFTER no jobs and they know it. All want a fair land deal, and are not in a hurry. They want all/part of la mestiza. Imho they are right.

Last few weeks 20 manzanas were bought, I posted name of former owner. There are ongoing negotiations to buy 9 manzanas from lady with 4 adult kids, cnr was offering less than to neighbours during first contact . No negotiations with coop. I believe no negotiations re 50x20m plot of land. MC said/suggested that land swap and livelihoods need to be considered in final price. No offer from cnr has been received. So I doubt a cpo will start till cnr fixed the price is happy to pay.

I don’t know how the construction permit using the no objection route followed by Condor actually works in terms of paperwork. But certainly if it was possible to issue an RNS confirming that the Construction permit has been issued or deemed issued it should be well received by the market. Isn‘t it the case that the 97.5% of the land purchased to date has been bought directly by Condor? Has a CPO process been commenced for the outstanding land?

This needs a rns: -june has passed without a rns about construction permit? Again, it seems goverment's promises are not to be trusted to issue a rns. Imho -We need to buy the land by ourselves without relying on the goverment, and we are proguessing in this direction by trying to find more gold in our pits。 Gla

Too right Oldie I posted to that point yesterday. Everybody seems to have forgotten about the SAG and Majestic taking part payment in shares at 47pish.

Too much negativity here (partially also from my side). We have the SAG mill underway and land purchase progressing. Elections are a non-risk IMHO. I just have to convince myself not checking for RNS every morning

As previously reported in my opinion we probably own around 97.5% of the land; recently there are negotiations to buy 9 manzanas more, however there may not be yet negotiations for land swap with cooperative. It appears four drilling rigs are carrying on working. Some weeks ago I was told that building works at Los Terceros were taking place. Students started lectures last weekend. All acceptable and promising. Gla

Last time Mark talked he said we are at 96-97% of the land bought. Looking forward to the new feasibility study with America and mestiza added to the mine plan and a higher gold price.

I really hope that CNR comes good, but I feel that there is always going to be a substantial discount to hope value, due to ever increasing environmental pressures everywhere, including Nicaragua, even if that country is considered to be a mining friendly nation,(at the moment). These bandit groups in search of gold, generally to the detriment of the indigenous population, don't exactly create a good impression, and surely will continue to raise tensions, with the local people being regarded by liberals as being the 'oppressed', and therefore getting a lot more publicity as time passes. This is irrespective of particular situations, where mining might actually be regarded as a positive. This consensus would tend to unify opposition to mining ; just a variation of cutting off your nose to spite your face. This is why these broker valuations can be taken with a pinch of salt. It's not all about numbers. Back in the 'good old days' when local issues were secondary, you could enjoy multi baggers ( or suffer multi losses) in abundance, but not in this climate.

I think there are two main factors holding the share price back. Firstly the land ownership and secondly the political situation in Nicaragua. When the land is bought and Ortega wins the election things will dramatically improve. Just an opinion.

Village should be resettled , and there is a big risk that this will not take off, under new goverment, till the villagers are moved away. Goverment carries on failing to provide leadership, this time with lack of support to cpo. This is the reason why we are in AIM, and we have not beeen bought yet We are cheap , I do not encourage anybody to sell at these prices. Patience , negotiations should start as soon as we have mestiza complete assay results. Villagers are divided, many want us out, but all want a good deal (fair land swap. ie it will not be cheap for us)

Book5 is raising the point that CNR will mine next to a village as if this is something new. It isn’t this is a historic mining area Historic Mine Production The La India Project hosts the historic La India Gold Mine which processed an estimated 1.7Mt at 13.4g/t for 576,000oz Au between 1938 and 1956, the majority of the production under the ownership of Canadian mining company Noranda Inc. At the height of production in 1953, mine records show an annual production of 41,861 oz gold at a grade of 0.3442 oz/ton (11.8 g/t) and 39,282 oz silver (equivalent to 11.0 g/t). The mine worked a dozen narrow high-grade veins using traditional back-stoping techniques with mine drainage achieved and ore transport to a central mill achieved via an extensive network of interconnected drainage and transport adits. The mining was concentrated on two veins; La India vein where a 1200 m strike length was mined to a depth of up to 200 m below surface and the America-Constancia vein where a 2200 m strike length was mined to 250 m below surface. Mine development at these locations and at the smaller satellite workings was incomplete, and in some cases had not advanced beyond exploratory stope development, when mining was halted in 1956. Since the closure of La India gold mine and continuing to the present day, artisanal miners have intermittently worked the most accessible upper levels of the mine and extracted ore from small pits throughout the district. It is a village that appears to be reliant on mining to this day. A proper safe mine should return the village to the prosperity it may well have had when the mining was last undertaken on a commercial scale. As the open pit mining is completed the land can be returned to the village in a much more usable form. When you look at what Condor is already doing to improve the lives of the villagers it would be very strange if the vast majority of villagers were not in favour of the project.

I know what you're saying Buzzzzzzzz but I have never understood the disparity in the share price regardless of what we have here? Far cleverer investors than me have scratched their heads over the years regarding this! In all fairness I think MC has done a stellar job in a very difficult bear market for most of the years I have been invested but for no apparent reward to date?

Connect I think he got you confused with Corrientes, as I did, who was negative on the interview. What we all need to remember is we have bought a mill from Majestic who took shares at this level as part of the payment. Majestic are not mugs!

FYI Buzzzzzzz I did not offer any comments on the interview. My skin's thickness is what it is however what I don't like is people being accused of dreaming if the don't go along with a particular narrative, as you say just my opinion. We are all here for a common purpose and it's normal to vent frustration. I've been here for what seems a lifetime and it does get hard to remain chipper all the time.

is there any number which values goldmines on what's being produced for example a mine producing 1m ozs per year is valued at $5bn or $5000 per oz or 2 - 2.5 X the price of gold per oz?

Connect Knocking some ones opinions is debate. 8881CB said he did not agree with your opinion of Mark's interview and politely stated his opinion you were deramping. I think his post entirely respectful, I think your skin is too thin.......just my opinion!

Well said DiggyBee et al the problem is you will get shouted down for negative sentiments by our regular flag bearer 888ICB. The facts speak for themselves and if I wasn't so deep in the red I'd be tempted to reduce my holding. I don't blame anyone but myself but this has been a decade wasted for me personally. I don't want to enter a slanging match with you 888ICB but you can't keep knocking other people's opinions just because you don't subscribe to them. Just respect their rights to air them as I respect yours.
