It has been good for those employed.
For shareholders so far it has been a capital destruction enterprise.
Lets hope the future is better that what it has been.
I hope to see a good rns before the end of this month

Actually I am waiting for roughly 15 years already. It is likely that any investor joining in now has to wait less than another 15 years :-)
Sorry, being carried away

A good RNS today showing good progress with the drilling 6 weeks after the last update
8,500m Infill Drilling Commenced and Update on Mine Schedules for the Fully Permitted La Mestiza Open Pit.

Condor Gold (AIM: CNR; TSX: COG) is pleased to announce that is has commenced an 8,500 metre infill diamond drilling programme within the permitted La Mestiza Open Pit Mineral Resource at La India Project, Nicaragua. Two diamond core drill rigs are currently operating on Mestiza and have drilled approximately 600 metres to date. The programme is anticipated to take a further 4 months to complete. Condor is also pleased to provide updated preminarly mine schedules on La Mestiza Open Pits conducted by SRK Consulting (USA) Inc, based on the existing Mineral Resource and in support of the 8,500 metre drilling programme.

Highlights

· Existing La Mesitza Open Pit Mineral Resource hosts 433kt at 8.6g/t gold for 120,000 oz gold (92kt at 12.1 g/t gold for 36,000 oz gold in the Indicated category and 341kt at 7.7 g/t gold for 85,000 oz gold in the Inferred Category).

· 8,500m infill drilling programme has commenced on the high-grade La Mestiza Open Pit aimed at upgrading Mineral Resources to Indicated category such that it forms a basis for inclusion into future Pre-Feasibility or Feasibility Studies .

· The Mestiza Vein Set is open down dip and along strike and has the potential for a material increase with additional drilling.

· Preliminary mine schedules indicate the potential to deliver 499kt of high grade material to the processing plant at a diluted head grade of 5.37 g/t gold, with the potential to produce 86,000 oz gold.

The market seems indifferent so far with CNR Up 3.2% on volume of 37000 from 5 trades. Perhaps investors are waiting for the permission to construct the mine to arrive in the next few days before buying.

These are all standard mining costs for surface extraction and in-mine hauling. You can add 1.5 $/t for loading into road trucks and 30 $/t +/- for the road hauling to a toll mining site depending on location. But these numbers are dwarfed by the toll mining cost agreed between the parties and this latter number is the starting point for any negotiation.

Sher
Agree
But perhaps these costs could be extrapolated to calculate the costs of a toll mining deal

Book, the transportation costs will surely be the costs to our processing plant. I thought mestiza is a couple of km away from where our processing plant will be sited and therefore those numbers will be for that.

Rns gives costs of processing the Mestiza's ore per tonne , as well as transport costs.. A Hint?

(1) The Mestiza pits are amenable to open pit mining and the Mineral Resource Estimates are constrained within Whittle optimised pits, which SRK based on the following parameters: A Gold price of USD1,500 per ounce of gold with no adjustments. Prices are based on experience gained from other SRK Projects. Metallurgical recovery assumptions of 96% for gold are based on testwork conducted to date. Marginal costs of USD19.36/t for processing, USD5.69/t G&A and USD2.35/t for mining, slope angles defined by the Company Geotechnical study of 45°, haul cost of USD1.25/t was added to the Mestiza ore tonnes to consider transportation to the plant.

MC said we will need to do some drilling at the Mestiza before toll mining.
We are progressing!!

It is also good in relation to any potential problems with the Government in the future that we should have permission this month to construct the mine. This avoids applying for an extension at a later date. Next stop production(if not sold earlier)!

I honestly do not think this could have any negative effect. The Ortega family as well as the US-backed opposition leaders have an interest in fast startup of the mine and ongoing export of gold.
Both political camps will therefore avoid any impact on one of the most important export sectors. It's not only about CNR. If one of the gold mines is impacted, also trust in the other operating mines would drop.

Can I give positive well founded rumours? Or I am ramping.
Can I give small negative rumours? Or I am deramping...
It seems some of you think that I have hidden agendas.
My agenda is the truth.

For my own good 9 out of 10 I get too enthusiastic with what I hear

Bdw There were good rumours today....
Two Rumours:
-There have never been artisanal miners working in la Mestiza, but in the surrounding areas (san juan, el llano). Ie La Mestiza is empty of artisanal miners.
- Cnr has said to miners that the artisanal mining permits will not get renewed (including la india) , they will need to evacuate cnr land, this will take months.

All good from where I see
We should move up again, 18th june d-day?

Usually the brokers are linked to certain news platforms for promoting their shares.
A change of broker might give us some new promotion channels and hosts (greetings to good ol' rusty Jochen :-) I always see Harry Enfield when he interviews Mark and I am waiting for him to mention the war... anyway.

Change of broker is certainly a good idea.
888icb, you were ramping again, I did my best not to deramp :D

I agree goldrush just expressing frustration at the low volumes! If they can get straight on to the strategic investors that will be great. Shouldn’t be too difficult as First Majestic have already shown an interest and Rio have instructed Calibre to find new gold investments for them. The retail investors need to be careful they don’t miss out.

I don't think their services are related to increasing a few retail trades.....IMHO it's more likely to be expert help with a strategic investor say First Majestic for instance or sourcing another investor/family office for production loan....

It would be a 'toys out of pram' because "I want it now" reaction to wish for a takeover just as the co is in sight of production. Predators always want to strike at just this point - when they think a co has just about run out of funds (and some kindergarten shareholders are screaming impatiently)- and to get it cheap. For a start, they wouldn't pay anything like a NPV based value because they won't want to pay for capex twice over and will deduct it and the take-out price from any value they see. The best value for current shareholders is always to develop themselves, and for CNR, although NPV in a phased start-up on will be less than (but adjusted for a gold price $500/oz higher) the out-of-date 2014 one, it looks as though payback of a reduced $70m initial cost (against the original $112m one - which will be a lot higher today) wll be very short, after which CNR can bootstrap its subsequent expansion. As for Hannam, they always considerably exaggerate any 'target' price they set. Whether they will do their own calcs or wait for a BFS remains to be seen. Even so they will probably arrive at a 'target' (even if a bit spurious) considerably higher than the present share price. (Spangel by the way has based its forecasts up to now on the 2014 FS - ie they are useless)

I think its not a false statement to say that we are all frustrated.
Some try ramping every second day ("transformational news ahead", "i have added today", "next week share price is going to explode" etc), others try to deramp even further out of frustration and even others try to analyse in a debate why the situation is as it is. As a LTH I try to be in category 3.

888ICB I agree it's not going to do anything to alter anything at the end of the day, but these forums give people the opportunity to vent harmlessly. I don't necessarily agree with all the opinions and posts on here, but at the same time I respect everyone's right of expression. At the end of the day our aims are aligned and I truly hope the long term holders are amply rewarded for their faith and patience. With AIM and MC may may or may not be one of those rare decent individuals most peoples experiences are of the Wild West with scant regard for pulling down the trousers of small investors unfortunately.
