21/11/2019 07:45 | New Non-Exec with experience of 'initial exploration drilling to start-up.' Mark Child, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Condor Gold, commented: "Ian joins Condor Gold at a time when permits have been received to construct and operate a processing plant with capacity of 2,800 tonnes per day and initial production forecast at circa 100,000 oz gold per annum from a single open pit. As the Company moves towards a construction decision for new gold mine at Mina La India, Ian's significant construction and operating experience in a number of producing gold mines world-wide will be an invaluable guide to Condor Gold". Ian Stalker is a senior international mining executive with over 45 years of experience in resource development. He has directed over twelve major gold, base metal, uranium and industrial minerals projects at various phases, from initial exploration drilling to start-up. | temujiin
21/11/2019 07:43 | They wait until the share price is near the lows to issue options. 22p - 10% above the recent price - is still ridiculously cheap if the company gets anywhere with its plans, and 5 years is a long time. The option exercise price should have been a lot higher imho. | zangdook

20/11/2019 15:03 | Propaganda is the word, edge2. | rhuvaal2
19/11/2019 14:03 | Quite a drop from 28p well underwater myself but sold many at 28p for a loss. Atmosphere seems to have changed drastically and gov not so positive. Good veins but book5 illustrates better alternatives to pits. Could be idea to bottom fish as some may be shorters propaganda and someone made a mint on downfall. Guess I'll watch it. | edjge2
19/11/2019 09:46 | One man seems to have marched this down from c'28p... and has then made a small purchase @ c'20p. Better for him to have stuck with EUA ~ my apologies for the O/T | rhuvaal2
16/11/2019 16:43 | Read Nicaraguan law for mining developments Mines must be at least 100m from any house fence We need report how mine will affect locals (last rns), my view is the final mine pit will be considerably smaller than last proposal, or we go for tunnel mining Still worth more than 20 million | book5
15/11/2019 22:11 | There are not farmers but miners | book5
15/11/2019 22:11 | There are not farmers, around 80% are artesanal miners, or work within the industry chain The most successful ones own plenty of land in our area of interest Economy is rapidly deteriorating, so the central Government sees with good eyes the proposed Industrial mining , we are on the TV from time to time. We need the government support to buy land, without it we will not be able to proceed. | book5

14/11/2019 17:32 | Thanks Goneawol . Not a huge amount new and newsworthy , but 3 things struck me . Firstly , whilst the airwaves have gone a bit quiet on the potential for early cash flow from a toll deal , preferably with Calibre Mining the new owner of B2Gold’s Nicaraguan assets , Mark Child devotes the whole of slide 13 to just that , but does not expand on it in his presentation . Perhaps , therefore , there is more to say at some point . Secondly , following on from this , 400 pages of data for the permitting of the 2 high grade feeder pits , which would most likely be used in any toll deal , will be sent off to the Ministry for perusal/approval in 10 days time . Quick approval would certainly make a toll deal more likely . Finally , Condor is making solid and steady progress in buying the freehold land surface rights off local farmers . 350 hectares out of a target of 1000 hectares have been secured already , and Condor has a full time team of 4 people on the land project dealing with 55 landowners . | bomber13
13/11/2019 22:01 | From the MANAGEMENT’S DISCUSSION AND ANALYSIS PDF Now that it has secured the Environmental Permit, and subject to availability of funding, the Company has also purchased the majority of the surface rights under the option agreements held with certain landowners and will buy land from other landowners under its land acquisition programme....... and later on 'Land purchases would also be required and are estimated to cost circa U.S.$ 3 million | temujiin
13/11/2019 19:53 | Ahhh. Book5 is one of the 'villagers' angling after a bit of compo. I can see his compo face now in the local La India newspaper..... Book5 = filtered | dexdringle
