13/11/2019 13:48 | MAY be if we spend 500 million we could buy the villagers’ will, ie assuming an average of $100000 per person compensation is accepted How much would we pay in they uk for a 5000 strong community resettlement ? | book5
13/11/2019 13:10 | Nothing significant happening in the ground a part of football matches No rumbling vehicles Drip drip drip By the way the majority of the 300Ha , where are they? are they outside the La India mine footprint ??? | book5
13/11/2019 08:56 | Bottom line:- Condor (within, say, a decade) will mine £1 billion of gold. Today's market cap = £20 million... | vermilion1966
13/11/2019 07:12 | Cash at end of Q3 - £3,637,425 Approximately 300 hectares of land has been purchased at the La India Project on and surrounding the mine site infrastructure. =============== Condor Gold plc announces its unaudited results for the three and nine months ended 30 September, 2019 Condor Gold (AIM: CNR; TSX: COG) announces that it has today published its unaudited financial results for the three and nine months ending 30 September, 2019 and the Management's Discussion and Analysis for the same period. Both of the above have been posted on the Company's website www.condorgold.com and are also available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com . Highlights for the third quarter of 2019 -- In July, the Company raised GBP4,038,504 by way of a private placement of new ordinary shares. The principal use of proceeds is to meet conditions of the Environmental Permit to construct and operate a mine for La India open pit. Proceeds are being used to buy land required for the mine site infrastructure, complete engineering studies ahead of a construction decision and complete 18 technical studies required for Environmental and Social Impact Assessments ("ESIAs") for 2 high grade satellite feeder pits. -- Significant advancement with 18 technical studies required for ESIAs for 2 high grade satellite feeder pits -- Nicaragua Milling Company Limited became a new 10.4% shareholder in the Company. Randy Martin, the majority owner, has built 3 gold mines in Nicaragua, which are currently in operation. -- Approximately 300 hectares of land has been purchased at the La India Project on and surrounding the mine site infrastructure. -- Government of Nicaragua granted Condor Gold the 132.1 km(2) Los Cerritos exploration and exploitation concession, which expands the La India Project concession area by 29% to a total of 587.7 km(2) Post Period Highlights -- The engineering studies for the Tailings Storage Facility and Water Management System for the mine have been awarded to Tierra Group Inc, based in Denver, USA -- The ESIAs required for the application for the Environmental Permits to extract gold from 2 high grade satellite feeder pits are almost completed. Mark Child, Chairman and Chief Executive of Condor Gold, commented: "During Q3 2019, Condor Gold continued to make solid progress by de-risking the La India Project ahead of a construction decision. Offers have been made to all landowners to purchase the freehold land within the area of the mine site infrastructure. The majority of the technical and engineering studies required prior to construction by the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources ("MARENA") have been initiated. The engineering studies for the Tailings Storage Facility and Water Management System for the mine have been awarded to Tierra Group Inc, based in Denver, USA. The mine and waste dump schedules have been completed, while the sewage and water system designs for the office and accommodation blocks at the mine have been approved. The Company will submit two Environmental and Social Impact Assessments to MARENA within the near future, which apply for Environmental Permits to extract gold from the high grade Mestiza and America satellite feeder pits. These have the potential to increase annual production from open pit material by 50% to 120,000 oz gold p.a. for a seven year life of mine, as compared to the PFS study and will result in over 1 million ounces gold being permitted for extraction." | temujiin

09/11/2019 11:50 | The situation here is similar to the Avatar film, the only difference is that the corrupt government don’t support its people, neither the police. I believe this would make a good film or panorama documentary Saint Oscar Romero was assassinated for going against oppression in neighbouring El Salvador , you don’t know what is happening with your mine.... please pray for the village and the directors | book5

07/11/2019 11:50 | For sure my deramping efforts are not existing Looking from the fence and telling you what I was told. All ears | book5
07/11/2019 09:25 | book5 - your deramping efforts v. poor. Must try harder! If you're going to BS, you should learn to do it more convincingly. If access through the village is problematic, build a bypass road. And if you think through the cemetery is the only route option, you are gravely mistaken... | vermilion1966
07/11/2019 08:58 | You're still not willing to tell us when and under what circumstances you spoke to local residents? If all those photos of demonstrations can be published, why do you respond by hinting that this information would be dangerous? | zangdook
07/11/2019 07:57 | Temujiin Rather I would open a long if we get good news, sorry I did not short this before Government acted recklessly in the past, may be not any more, it is not popular There are more players in Nicaragua+Colombia , one at least has its share price double last year, listed TSE, striking difference | book5
07/11/2019 07:22 | Book5, you sound like an activist for ACAFREMIN, the Central American Alliance Against Mining. The objections against the CNR mine are known and have been discussed which is why the company adjusted it's own plans to accommodate villagers concerns. Every development in the world throws up people who object, even if its a small scale housing estate in UK. It's up to the company and Gov to overcome these issues, which is why we are at 20p. If you believe its a no goer, open a short, let us know and have faith in your opinion. | temujiin
07/11/2019 05:43 | Around 5000 villagers A bit old: And from July this year: | book5
07/11/2019 05:26 | Temujiin Villagers from Santa Cruz de la India make a decent living from their mining work , they are proud and want to pass their way of life to their children and grandchildren, they are a miners community, these people don’t want CMR mine. Villagers from far away is communities are the ones that are in the photographs and want the jobs in offer Good luck , for now I am out, I believe more the villagers than the company | book5
06/11/2019 23:30 | Book5, these are all common issues with mines but I doubt those with little, will be too worried about what happens in 10 to 20 years time. AFAIK the community was and has been consulted about the mine and a majority were in favour and many applied hoping for work once it starts. Your testimony is interesting and may be honest, but I'll prefer to believe the RNS's for information. As for land purchases, perhaps you could contact the company and feed back as you seem quite concerned for us about this. | temujiin
06/11/2019 21:00 | Temujiin Have a look the the proposed mining development, where the village would be surrounded by an earth embankment with explosions may be at less than 150 / 200 meters? Community stopped machines moving in, they guarded the roads , men at night, women during the day. They will do it again Local economy is based in small mining projects. With the new mine After 10 -20 years all jobs would be gone for ever! and may be cnr would not employ as many as now? Now there is peace, company is not suggesting that villagers are moving out from their houses, but if company tries to move in the license area there will be a conflict Heard in company video CNr is trying to buy land...how are thing going, has anybody contacted the company? The share graph says it all, it needs good news But May be if cnr increases dramatically the compensation deal ... could it be light at the end of the tunnel? | book5
06/11/2019 19:00 | ''essentially Cóndor is proposing to destroy a community way of life''. Funny that, as the 'community' is very poor and jobs hard to come by and Nicaragua not know to be a bastion of Extinction Rebellion acolytes, I'd have thought the community would welcome a mine offering many well paid jobs, by hey, WTFDIK. | temujiin
06/11/2019 08:07 | Thanks, Book5 - you've been more helpful than you could ever know. And very well done for not answering any of the points I raised. | vermilion1966
06/11/2019 03:56 | Hi all Did the villagers tell me the whole truth? , did they know the whole truth ? I can’t answer to that, I have just reported it. the community is David, the company- government-other far away communities is Goliath. The government wants the mine and income it will bring. essentially Cóndor is proposing to destroy a community way of life , villagers do not agree with it Villagers are very very very fearful of authorities and what they can do to their families . The stakes are very high for both sides the company has resources to win, if they do then the community will loose. The share price is very cheap in comparison with peers for a reason, but what are the reasons? Company said is due political uncertainty in Nicaragua, is this the whole truth, are other facts? .Please ask questions to the company , what are difficulties / opposition on their ground. My understanding, things could change if villagers are forced to sell their Land to the company. If Goliath wins it will be a big price for shareholders, but it would destroy a community, it is not a win-win situation, ☹️ Good luck to all, sorry I can’t be more helpful | book5
05/11/2019 21:55 | Book5 According to yr posts, you appear to have first taken an interest in Condor less than a fortnight ago..... You must have taken some photos on your very recent and urgent fact-finding trip to Nic - d'you have any of La India you could let us see?? | vermilion1966
05/11/2019 21:45 | Condor have the concession, and license to mine. They don't need (nor, indeed, want to buy) 'freehold'. Mineral rights and land ownership can be discrete. | vermilion1966
05/11/2019 21:22 | Hi Book5, nobody has suggested you 'put locals in danger'. Zanfdook just asked 'Were you there in person, did you speak to locals, and where?'. I guess he wants to know, as I do, is this a recent up to date view that you are sharing, or dated? If what you portray is true then it would inply that Condor, the Nic Gov, the knowledgeable multi-millionaire investor/directors and even the investment arm of the world bank (no longer invested) and myself were/are all mugs as this mine will never get built. | temujiin
05/11/2019 15:43 | Hmm Do not put locals in danger unnecessarily | book5 |
