25/9/2015 10:00 | Another drop on ziltch | usmcgs
24/9/2015 22:18 | steeplejack 7 Sep'15 - 09:14 - 10662 of 10710 0 0 What I'm talking about you rude little man is the fact that holders might well find themselves having to realise a capital LOSS.For choice I would rather have the opportunity to be acquired by a listed UK company and hang in there for a rosier future. steeplejack 7 Sep'15 - 09:19 - 10663 of 10710 0 0 Furthermore,Andy,my excitable little muppet, neither my UK or my US broker deal in Canadian stocks which has probably proved a blessing over the years. --------- When you deliberately try and scaremonger you have to accept you will receive some straight talking in return! The truth of the matter is MOST decent London brokers CAN trade Canadian stocks, and even if you have a broker that cannot, you can always accept a share certificate! If they do not sell will they have to realise a capital loss? I would imagine MOST of the large UK brokers )TD, Hargeaves, Barclays, lloyds et al) can trade Canadian stocks, so if you have a small broker, I doubt they represent a large % of UK investor transactions. And in the USA they CAN trade Canadian stocks listed on the OTCQX, Amex, and NASDAQ markets. So not entirely a disaster if a Canadian company buys Condor, I would imagine MOST holders will still be able to hold in their accounts. | ![]() andy
24/9/2015 19:46 | Looking at the monthly, 3 monthly, yearly & 3 yearly graphs, they're all absolutely shocking for a company that is meant to be for sale. What exactly did Jim Mellon actually do here? Can anyone remember when he bought a load of shares at 0.5p & sold them for 10p odd many years ago- made a fortune in those pre consolidation days.He then came on board & it's been downhill ever since, apart from the directors paying themselves a nice salary with shares options. The AIM cesspit is full of disasters like this. There won't be many investors in the black with this, but look at it as a learning curve & keep away from these cash burning piles of poo.I still maintain a price of 20p here- 1p old money. | ![]() harebridge
24/9/2015 15:54 | I would suggest a tick up is not far off as sells are above mid | usmcgs
24/9/2015 15:23 | You have to laugh at some of the comments, on lse, such as seller still around as buys ending .9999 and there has been 40k of buys and no tick up lol Suggest to me that some are trying to put that thought in other's thoughts to sell so that they can buy cheaper | usmcgs
24/9/2015 14:42 | There are probably numerous parties interested in what we have. Whilst they may wish to buy or JV, we don't yet know but the SR process will produce something, of that one is absolutely certain. Along the way we have more operational news to come, which will be undoubtedly positive. For those who invest or average down today, imagine if we were to get near $56/oz in the ground. That would be a very handsome return on investment. In all likelihood nobody will lose any money at CNR provided they did not invest at the peak price | sir andrew ffoulkes
24/9/2015 09:34 | Is there a time scale for the offer period and strategic review? | usmcgs
23/9/2015 19:24 | We can but hope that an offer comes in. If it does imo we will re rate quick | usmcgs
23/9/2015 19:22 | Not sure why MC has said this as imo we were always going to want to sell.We are now looking more desperate and if we don't get an offer we have now told the market that we will probably either do a placing at a large discount or moth ball | usmcgs
23/9/2015 18:37 | That was my point .The market knows that MC seems desperate to sell. I am amazed that we are not even lower to be honest! | jeanesy2
23/9/2015 12:49 | Some buying at last | usmcgs
23/9/2015 10:15 | Perhaps the market is worried that we are now more desperate to sell and have thus almost become a forced seller, based on MC's comments on raising further monies. At the current rate of fall we are going to be lucky to get the last weeks losses back on the whittling report being released. | usmcgs
23/9/2015 10:05 | Looking like a further drop When is the buying going to start? | usmcgs
22/9/2015 19:25 | You make it sound too dramatic. There is always a support level and there could well be an offer or one on the way.You pays your money and takes your chances | usmcgs
22/9/2015 19:00 | Last support level now broken ! People will not be prepared to throw good money after bad here. Clearly no offers on the table. The whole thing smacks as desperation sadly imo. | jeanesy2
22/9/2015 15:42 | Plenty of rampers on lse stated they'd buy if this went below 50. Where are those buys? | usmcgs
22/9/2015 14:29 | and still a further drop | usmcgs
22/9/2015 11:31 | Topped up below 50 Average now in the very low 50s whittle report due at any time, which should see some upside. The slightest rumour of a jv or buyout and I can see this doubling very quickly | usmcgs
21/9/2015 16:21 | Why are you surprised that this is heading below 50p?We are in a bear market for commodities, especially gold. Mines are being shut down left right & centre. Yes, this will be profitable, but the big boys out there just haven't got the cash anymore. It really is a bad time to sell, but exploration companies like this just keep on burning cash. The timing is all wrong here, although no ones fault. This looks like being sold down to a lot lower then this, probably around the 20p mark. | ![]() harebridge
21/9/2015 14:08 | 50k sellCould be heading below 50Very surprised | usmcgs
21/9/2015 09:13 | SAF I'm totally with you on this. Excellent summary. | serious punter
21/9/2015 08:53 | As we are subject to disclosure restrictions, nobody has any idea whether we've been in discussions or not. Clearly our NOMAD disagrees with your hypothesis as they've made us put out an 'offer period' RNS. You guys are being highly speculative to say the least. One of two things will happen, we will get an offer or a JV and the price will rise or we will not and the price will stagnate or fall as we end up in care and maintenance mode. I'm happy with either outcome, the first is jam today, the latter is jam tomorrow. Do as you must, short or long it matters not. | sir andrew ffoulkes
19/9/2015 19:12 | MC has been really unlucky with this one. He came across as a rather decent bloke, but unfortunately, you just can't fight a bear market in commodities.Since the 'For Sale' sign was put up, there's been zilch interest. The likes of JIbbo, who pumped & dumped this for years have long gone now. This will now be shorted down to around 20p. That's 1p pre consolidation. | ![]() harebridge
18/9/2015 21:06 | Shareholding disclosure time up. Cant see the point myself. What has been learned? I see MC is doing yet more presentations..he seems to spend alot of time doing them !! Surely if someone was at the table (as some believe) he would not be bothering ?! | jeanesy2 |
